NOTE: Before pagbaba this story, there is one thing I should mention. If you’re wondering how the other students know about Kasey’s powers it is because this story takes place a few months after some events from “Negima! Earth’s Survivors”. I wanted to clear this fact in case a lot of you are wondering how the other students knew about his powers. Please enjoy!


It was the araw of October 31st and this meant one thing- fun, the craving of sweets, and dressing up as a character from one’s imagination. Halloween is worth celebrating across the world. Most cultures on the other hand have their own ways of celebrating this holiday. Despite the entire world gazing at their fun moments of spooky story telling and the unmentionable bags of snacks and candy, only one place in the world has a hard time getting into the spirit.

Mahora Academy is the perfect school for a huge Halloween party. Because of all the commotions and dangers that continued lurking through the area, there never was enough time for huge celebrations. Negi, his students, and their newest recruit Kasey have all been tired, bummed, and bored out of their minds! There was nothing else madami to do then save the school and world from evil wizards, monstrous creatures, and other dangers that tried to invade and attack the grounds. It was a long and busy taon for everyone at Mahora. During a lesson, Negi turned and noticed that all of the students were just sighing with boredom and weakness. Feeling bad, he tried his hardest to come up with something. After a while of brain storming, he finally had an idea. “Why don’t we give out a huge Halloween party tonight?” It was after this that all of the students raised their heads up and looked at him with surprise. “Seriously?” Makie asked. Negi nodded. Everyone cheered and celebrated. He tried his hardest to calm everyone down so he would explain plans for the party but proved nothing. The class rep, Ayaka, stood, walked to Negi’s mesa on the other side and slammed her hand on it as hard as she could. “Shut up everyone!” She shouted. “You guys can celebrate later. Right now, we need to start working on ideas and plans for this party if it’s going to happen.” Negi thanked her for helping him. She stared at him while blushing a tad and smiling. She had the pantasiya of Negi in her mind. Once everything settled down, the whole class was in the process of coming with ideas for the Halloween party. Negi wrote the ideas on the chalkboard and listed all of the ideas as well as the name of the students that would be in charge of everything. “Is there anything else we can add to the party?” Negi asked while turning to face the class. Konoka raised her hand and he asked her what her idea was. “Why don’t we add a haunted house or something very scary?” She asked. Everyone was impressed sa pamamagitan ng her request as no one thought about asking that. Negi thought it was a good idea and wrote it on the board. After that, he asked if there was anything else they wanted to add. Ayaka raised her hand and he asked her what it was. “What about a costume contest?” Everyone looked at her with confusion as they didn’t quite understand what she meant. With a sigh, she explained. They finally understood what she meant sa pamamagitan ng costume contest and applauded to that idea. Negi wrote it on the board and sinabi that they have just about everything they could add for the party. “We will have to start working on this after school,” Negi said. “It will take us all day, but together we will get it done.” Everyone cheered and Negi could just chuckle.

As the oras went by, everyone was in the progress of getting ready for the big party. Some of the students were in charge of decorating, others were in charge of cooking special treats and snacks, while a few others were out in town shopping for decorations and candy. Kasey was in charge of helping Asuna, Konoka, Setsuna, and Makie shopping for the decorations and sweets. “What was the reason for doing this anyway?” Kasey asked. Konoka explained that it was because Negi suggested it and that it gave an opportunity to relax and take a break from everything that went on the past months. Understanding, Kasey didn’t have a problem with it and thought it was nice that Negi planned it and that it would give everyone a fun time off from defeating evil doures and protecting the universe. They were off to the last place to shop. Asuna was already digging for kendi and started eating some of it. Setsuna tried to get her to stop eating all of the goodies. The two started fighting while Makie took the bag of candy. All what the others could do was stand while watching them brawl. “Asuna sure loves candy.” Konoka sinabi while giggling. After things were settled between the two, they went into the last tindahan and bought everything they could find. Their hands were loaded with stuff! It took them a while to finally make it back to the academy but with the help of the other students they managed to make it without dropping or breaking anything. Luckily, Asuna didn’t eat all of the candy.

Once they came with everything, a couple of the other students were in the large party room. Sayo, with her ghost-like abilities, helped sa pamamagitan ng putting some of the hanging decorations up. Fuka and Fumika were in charge of decorating the dining tables. Nodoka, Yue, and Haruna were in charge of putting up the decorations in the room including those that were hung on the lower portions of the walls and the bits on the floor. Ayaka was in another room connected susunod to the party room discussing her costume contest with a couple of other students. Makie was also part of the gathering and ended up late in which Ayaka was very angry. Not wanting to start a scene, she relaxed but told Makie that she would be punished for her actions. All what Makie could do was sob while listening. Kasey was impressed sa pamamagitan ng everything. “Wow,” He exclaimed while looking around. “Everything looks amazing!” Fuka and Fumika were already done decorating the dining tables and came to visit him. “Look what we did.” Fumika sinabi while pointing to one of the dining tables. Kasey looked at it with surprise. “Impressive! You two did this?” The twins nodded while giggling. “Thanks Kasey!” They visited each other for a while until something happened. Nodoka, who was trying to put a Halloween sign on a tall section of the wall, fell from the latter and landed on her bottom. They dashed to her and helped her up. “You okay?” Kasey asked. Nodoka nodded but sinabi that her bottom hurt a little. “You should be okay. Not a big deal.” She appreciated his concern and caring and decided to sit on one of the chairs and take a little break. Yue and Haruna looked at each other with a little concern. They knew that without Nodoka, it was going to be difficult putting the rest of the pader decorations up. “If you two are looking for an extra hand, I am willing to help.” Kasey sinabi while looking at them. They smiled and nodded. It wasn’t too long until everything in the party room was prepared. Everyone awed sa pamamagitan ng the whole room and decided to take a break. Kasey on the other hand needed something. He asked one of the students where Negi was and told him that he was in his office. Kasey transformed into a hornbill and flew through the hallways quickly until he finally reached his office room. He slowly opened the door and noticed Negi was sitting and Pagsulat something. He quietly entered in and tried to get his attention. Negi looked and noticed him. “Hey Kasey,” He sinabi while turning his office chair around. “Shouldn’t you be helping with the decorations?” Kasey explained that they were done decorating already. Negi was impressed. Despite this small talk, Kasey was here for an important reason. “Negi,” He sinabi while walking to him. “I was thinking about something that has been troubling me. Konoka explained to me earlier that you wanted to do this party just so we can take a break from all of the trouble that has happened. But, what if something happens tonight?” Negi looked at him with a sudden shock. “Why would you be thinking of that? I don’t mean to sound rude, but we shouldn’t be thinking about that. At lease not tonight.” Kasey knew he was going to say that and thought nothing of it. He took a deep sigh and looked at him with a slight smile. “Thank you Negi,” He said. “I know you’re right. Let’s think nothing of it.” He turned and walked away. Negi felt bad because he didn’t mean to sound rude. But he knew that Kasey’s kindness was always serious and fair, so he thought nothing of it. Kasey was making his way down the stairs until he noticed something. A strange feeling started triggering his senses. “Something is here.” He sinabi quietly while looking around. The strange senses kept triggering his mind for about a minuto until it stopped. He wasn’t exactly sure what it was that triggered his senses but he knew it was something bad. Seemed like Negi’s opinion was madami wrong then imagined.

He continued making his way down the hallway. While he was walking, he noticed something out the window. Lying near a shaded tree, Evangeline and Chachamaru were relaxing. They were the only two who didn’t help out with the decorating. They sometimes don’t take parts in events like this. After noticing they were out there, he decided to have a little pep talk with them. He made his way outside and as he was making his way, Chachamaru noticed he was coming. “Kasey is coming,” She sinabi while looking back down at Evangeline. “You want me to get rid of him?” Slowly, she opened her eyes and sat up. “No, don’t worry. I’m sure he just wants to make insults with me again.” He made his way to them and sat down. “What do you want?” Evangeline asked with a little annoyance. He sighed and started to explain his situation. After explaining everything, Evangeline could only stare at him. “What do you make of it?” He asked. After a moment of silence, she was thinking of a good response. “I don’t even know why this is bugging you,” She responded. “I mean, don’t you have anything else better to do then to think about the silliest things? You’re an animal. You shouldn’t be thinking.” Kasey wanted to yell, but knew it was the wrong thing to do as the last time he suffered a bad defeat from her in an ultimate combat battle. Instead, he turned and walked backed to the building. All what Evangeline could do was smirk. “Why is does he have to be part of this school anyway? He’s not even human.” Chachamaru on the other hand disagreed a little. “He is a human,” She responded. “He is. You just cannot see it.” Evangeline wasn’t impressed sa pamamagitan ng her opinion and laid her head back on Chachamaru’s lap. She couldn’t close her eyes as she was thinking. “Maybe he isn’t so wrong,” She responded quietly. “Maybe not. But why would I care?” There was no explanation as to what she was thinking, but it did meant something- it’s possible that Evangeline might make segundo thoughts about Kasey after all. But it’s near but possible for now. As Kasey was making his way back inside, he thought he saw something looking at him. He couldn’t make out on what it was but he did know it was no good. Still, he held on and thanked nothing of it.

The afternoon sun started sinking down as evening was approaching. In Mahora Academy’s kitchen, Satsuki is busy making some special Halloween sweets including special cookies in the shapes of ghosts, witches, and monsters. It was a special recipe she has been planning for sometime. Usually, Chao always helps her on preparing everything but because she is part of Ayaka’s Halloween Costume Contest she couldn’t help out which didn’t bother her at all. It did mean that it would take a good minuto to get everything baked and ready and time was running out. It so happens that Kasey passed sa pamamagitan ng and noticed Satsuki was baking. He decided to come in and ask for help. “Excuse me, but would you like me to help you?” He asked politely. Satsuki looked at him with a little smile. “I could use some help,” She responded. “Thank you.” And with that, they worked so hard on baking and getting things ready. Kasey helped sa pamamagitan ng putting sprinkles and creating the Halloween-shapes for the cookies while Satsuki took care of the baking and timing. In about a minute, they were done. They looked at all of the sweets they made. “This looks really good,” Kasey said. “We finally did it.” Satsuki looked at him and smiled while blushing a tad. “Yeah, we did.” She responded. After talking for a while, Kasey had to get back to the party room. Satsuki thanked him for everything and waved as he wondered off. With a sigh of relief, she turned around and opened her eyes. She was shocked sa pamamagitan ng what she saw- most of the cookies were gone. She slowly walked to them and started looking around. “That’s strange,” She said. “Where could they have gone?” No traces of crums, footprints, or even trails were visible. Satsuki wondered at first, but didn’t have time to wonder. She decided to bake the cookies that were stolen, which only five of them disappeared. Kasey made his way down the dark and quite hall while being aware of everything that was around him. He was still very skeptic that something strange was going on around the academy but continued thinking about what Negi said- don’t think about any problems and just go on. His worries kept on rising minuto sa pamamagitan ng minuto and there were signs on the expression of his face that it was true. sa pamamagitan ng the time he made it to the party room however, his expressions changed. He knew that with the company of his mga kaibigan and classmates he would forget all about it.

It was now 9:00 PM and the biggest Halloween party in Mahora Academy was starting. A lot of the students arrived in costumes. Negi, Asuna, Konoka, Setsuna and Kasey were walking to the party together. Negi was dressed as a boy witch, Asuna went as a lobo girl, Konoka was dressed as a waitress, Setsuna was a winged demon, and Kasey went as a circus trained sea lion with a fluff thing around his neck. His costume also came with a tabing-dagat ball and Konoka carried it for him. “Why didn’t you transform into something scary?” Asuna asked. Kasey responded, “Because this is a party not a haunted house. I don’t want to scare anyone.” Asuna could only frown. “You do realize what this holiday is all about- scary people and eating lots and lots of candy.” Konoka giggled. “Asuna, you really like kendi so much don’t you?” She stared at Konoka with a strange expression. “You don’t really know me do you?” Konoka just giggled. She knew of course that Asuna was kidding. They all talked and joked while making their way to Mahora Academy. Once they got there, they noticed two other people walking also dressed in pretty fancy costumes. It was Evangeline and Chachamaru. “Hey guys,” Negi said. “Are you all attending the party too?” Evangeline frowned and mumbled yes. Even though she was cold hearted, Negi continued supporting her. She is after all a student to him and also a person with a tragic past. Evangeline was dressed as a fancy vampress, wearing a black toga as well as a large black bow on her head. Chacahmaru was dressed as a robot maid. Evangeline looked at Kasey and wasn’t too thrilled about his appearance. “You couldn’t dress as anything scary?” She asked. Kasey’s expression suddenly dropped to annoyance. “Is this going to be the newest tanong of the araw or something? I am dressed as a circus sea lion because I don’t want to look like a scary beast. Is that so hard to believe?” A moment of silence soon filled the air. Everyone could only stare at him. After a moment of this, Kasey decided he had enough and waddled his way inside the academy. “You were kind of rude to him,” Konoka sinabi while looking at Evangeline. She on the other hand just crossed her arms and gave a humph. “Not like it’s my responsibility anyway. Let’s go Chachamaru.” With that said, they both went inside. Negi and the others watched as they both went inside. “I hope she and him get along somehow,” Negi thought in his mind. “I just hope one araw they will.” Eventually, they caught up with Kasey who was actually waiting for them. “Listen guys, I’m really sorry for getting mad like that.” Negi and the others accepted his apology and knew that he meant not to let out his anger like that. “We know you’re only trying to make this occasion family friendly and we appreciate that a lot.” Konoka sinabi with a bright smile. Kasey smiled as he knew everything with them would just be alright. After that, they made it to the party room and were amazed. All of the students were dressed in various different costumes. They walked in and greeted to everyone. Everyone actually thought of Kasey’s idea for a costume was very cute and adorable. He even performed a few tricks with the tabing-dagat ball. Everyone loved it.

The party continued on as planned and everyone was laughing and having a fantastic and good time. It was close to the biggest event of the party, which was Ayaka’s Halloween Costume Contest. Everyone gathered in a small stage as Ayaka gave the announcements for the contest. A few of the girls who volunteered were all dressed up and made their way to the center stage. Everyone cheered as the girls arrived and made their way. The point of the contest was to allow everyone to vote on their paborito costume. Out of all the girls, Evangeline and Chao were tied. The winner was revealed to be Evangeline. Despite the fact she won, she still didn’t smile and it was nothing to celebrate. After the contest was over, everyone continued having fun. Kasey however decided to get some air out on the balcony. As he made his way out, he noticed Yue and Nodoka were also out on the balcony as well. “Hey guys,” Kasey said. “Don’t mind me. I just came out to get some air.” The two girls told him they didn’t mind if he hung around. “I like your costume Kasey.” Nodoka sinabi while blushing a little. “Thank you Nodoka,” He responded. “I just felt like going as something friendly.” Yue also had some compliments on his appearance too. “I like the fact that you’re a circus trained sea lion than just an ordinary sea lion.” Kasey smiled. “Thanks Yue. You guys look really great too.” They both blushed hard. Nodoka was dressed as a cat girl while Yue was dressed as a wizard. “Thanks.” They both sinabi at the same time. They all chatted out on the balcony for about an oras until Ayaka came out. “What are you all doing out here? You should be inside partying. Come on.” With that said, they all went back inside while Ayaka closed and locked the doors that lead to the balcony. Just when things were going good, Satsuki suddenly barged in. “Everyone! Something awful happened!” The whole room suddenly was quite as everyone looked at her. “Come to the kitchen!” A few of the students plus Negi and Kasey all made their way to the kitchen. What they all discovered was something very strange. “All” of the Halloween cookies were gone! “What happened?” Negi asked. Satsuki couldn’t explain- there was nothing to share. “No traces, no trails, nothing! It’s like we have a ghost or something.” Everyone started to assume that maybe Sayo was responsible, but it couldn’t have been her because she was at the party the whole time with Kazumi. “Then who could’ve stolen them?” Nodoka asked. It took them long enough to come up with serious theories as a lot of the girls came up with silly, stupid, and ridiculous theories. “Do you guys think Evangeline could’ve stolen them?” Asuna asked. Everyone stared at her with shock. “She could,” Kaede added. “She is known for controlling those creepy mga manika and she probably used them to steal the sweets.” Negi and Kasey both disagreed on that matter. “She couldn’t have,” Negi protested. “She might be cold hearted, but she is still a good person and I wouldn’t think she would do that.” Everyone did indeed agree that despite her being a vampire, she would never do anything do devious as steal cookies and sweets. However, they still had a very interesting mystery to solve. Before anyone could ilipat or say anything, Negi remembered something. “Where is Asuna?” Everyone looked around and didn’t find her. Negi suddenly had a chilling feeling- he knew what was going to happen. “Excuse me everyone.” He sinabi while dashing out through the hallways. The girls could just turn their heads around the corner and watched as he ran as fast as he could. They didn’t know what to make of him running away do quickly.

Negi made his way outside of the academy. Looking at different pathways, his senses told him to take a right. He ran as fast as he could until he stopped. Out in the middle was Asuna picking a fight with Evangeline. Apparently, after saying that Evangeline could’ve stolen the cookies Asuna dashed out from the building and found both her and Chachamaru outside. Negi stood for a while, hoping that everything would settle down but to his dismay Asuna’s contact with her was physical. “What were you thinking trying to steal all of those cookies?!” She shouted. Evangeline was getting annoyed and angry. “For the final time, I DID NOT steal those cookies!!! What gave you the impression I would?!” “Don’t play stupid with me little girl,” Asuna responded. “We all know what you do- you try to kill an innocent boy like Negi, tried to kill Kasey, and you’re just a party pooper who can’t even act like a kid! What madami is there for you to know?” Evangeline’s rage suddenly grew stronger and stronger. “ENOUGH!!!” She shouted. Just then, she transformed into her physical and older form. “If you continue to accuse me, you’re going to get what you deserve! And sa pamamagitan ng the way, I am not a little kid even though you might think I am!” At this time, Negi decided it was time for his doing and got in front of Asuna. “Evangeline, stop this please! I’m sorry about this. Asuna didn’t mean anything sa pamamagitan ng it. I apologize.” She really wanted to teach Asuna a lesson, but knowing about Negi she stopped and returned to her normal form. “She better take everything she sinabi back,” She responded. “I don’t like being accused.” Negi agreed and Asuna sinabi she was sorry. “We could use your help,” Negi said. “We’re having serious issues.” Being typical, Evangeline wiped her hair and turned around. “Why should I help? I was accused after all. I can’t just go off helping when everyone thinks of me as the one at fault. I don’t deserve this.” Negi begged and pleaded. After a while, she agreed to it. He thanked her for helping and together, they all went inside. They made it to the kusina and showed her and Chachamaru the crime scene. “These cookies were stolen without any trace,” Evangeline sinabi while observing the empty baking pan. “So, we’re probably dealing with someone or something from the Magical World.” Everyone never assumed that it could’ve been something from the world of magic. Negi on the other hand knew it all along- Kasey’s senses. “Oh no.” He sinabi out loud. Everyone stared at him. “What’s wrong Negi?” Nodoka asked. “Kasey was right all along. He was right and I didn’t believe him. I-I have to go. Sorry, I will return when I can.” With that, he turned and ran once madami as fast as he could. They all watched with desperation as he ran. “Something must be wrong.” Nodoka added. Evangeline just sighed. “When will he ever learn?” She murmured to herself.

Lucky for Negi, Kasey was still in the party room performing various sea lion tricks for a lot of the girls. After his tricks were done, he waddled to Negi. “Hey Negi, I wanted to say that this has been the greatest moment of my life. I have never had so much fun and..” Just when he was about to continue, Negi had to say something. “Kasey. I’m so very sorry for doubting you. You were right. Something strange is happening and I could use your assistance if you don’t mind.” Kasey’s expression changed from happiness to shock and serious. “So I was right,” He said. “It’s alright if you didn’t believe me before but we don’t have time for that. Let’s go solve this mystery.” And with that, Kasey transformed into something else madami serious like a raptor or a panter and ran out from the party room and into the kitchen. There, Kasey saw the crime scene. “The cookies Satsuki and I did are gone,” He sinabi while pacing around. “So, that’s all we’ve got?” Everyone nodded. After doing some critical thinking, he finally had a plan. “We’re going to trap whatever is out here and we will begin to know who is behind this mess. Are you with me?” A few of the girls in the kusina were cheering and agreed. Asuna, Konoka, Setsuna, Makie, Kaede, and Fuka and Fumika agreed to help out with the plan. Negi also agreed. To everyone’s surprise, even Evangeline and Chachamaru decided to sumali as well. While all of these people stayed and helped out with the plan, the other girls walked to the party room and stayed. After working on their plan, they decided to start setting it up. What their plan was to put the cookies in a medium sized cage and once something came inside, the movement within the cage will cause the cage doors to close automatically. “Are you sure we need a cage for this?” Negi asked. Asuna added that a cage was the best way to trap someone who could sneak off quickly. Negi still thought that using a cage to trap the culprit was an out of the wind idea but had to go along with it. As a minuto passed on, nothing was heard or visible though the darken hallway. It wasn’t until soon enough that movemt in the cage set the trigger in motion and the entrance dropped down quickly. The rattle of the cage woke everyone up. “I think we’ve got it!” Asuna sinabi with glee. Everyone cheered and went to the cage. They were shocked to see a small, hairy critter eating the bait. Konoka thought it was adorable and picked it up gently while rubbing it on her cheeks. It was then that an unexpected thing happened. The tiny creature growled, showed its claws, and scratched Konoka’s left cheek. She cried in pain as she dropped the critter on the floor. The tiny thing started running away and Asuna along with Kasey, Fuka and Fumika chased after it. Setsuna, Kaede, and Negi trued to cure her wounds. “It didn’t scratch you too hard thankfully.” Kaede said. “But it was a devastating blow,” Setsuna sinabi while looking at Konoka’s teary face. “You must not touch or pick up things you don’t know. Is that clear?” Konoka nodded while staring at Setsuna. After a while, Kasey, Asuna, Fuka and Fumika came back. “We Nawawala it.” Kasey sinabi with a sigh. Both Negi and Evangeline do recall on what short of creature that was.

Negi explained that the creature they saw was called a “Clonling”. According to his stories, these mischievous demons came from the Magical World and were known for stealing things. This hints as to why they were sealed to living in the Magical World and nowhere else. Somehow, the selyo was broken and some of the Clonlings escaped making it to Mahora Academy without any appearance. They have also been known to turn themselves invisible to the human eye and are known for covering up their own tracks. This explains why there was no crum trails or even footprints in the kitchen. Understanding, everyone could only assume what the outcome would be if in fact the Clonlings had any chance of stealing everything in their path. Evangeline however added that these creatures don’t steal just anything. They steal what is precious to them or what others have made. In the case of Satsuki’s cookies, she made them so they wanted to steal them. “How are we going to capture these things without them knowing?” Kasey asked. Everyone didn’t know what to think. It would be hard for them to discover one because they are invisible to the human eye and because they cover their tracks so soon. On the plus side, Kasey has powerful senses unlike any of them including sense of smell, able to see things invisible, and even keep track of things that are not there. “Wait, I can find them. You guys might know, but I have powerful senses and abilities to see the unknown. Maybe I can use these powers to figure out where they are hiding.” At first, everyone didn’t know what to think. They had never seen him in action when it came to good senses before, but because he was their only hope they had no choice but to go along with it. They agreed to allow him to do the searching and investigating. Turning into a Bloodhound, he started sa pamamagitan ng sniffing the ground and the air. He could really pick some scents from the ground- foul and stinky stenches. “They appear to be going this way,” He added while pointing straight ahead. “We better stick together on this. There is no telling what else could be out here.” With that said, Negi along with the other girls stuck together while following him. He continued sniffing the ground until he came to a pause. “They appear to be hiding within these walls somewhere. It’s kind of like a secret layer or something.” Looking at the wall, everyone could only sigh with depression. “There is no way we can get through there,” Makie sinabi while sighing. “We certainly cannot break the walls or the academy would be closed for good.” Just as everyone was about to give up, Chachamaru found something. It was a secret passage. “I found a secret passage.” She sinabi while pointing at a dark hole. Everyone was impressed on how she found it. They all entered inside. It was a long and dark journey through this passage. The madami they kept going, the madami colder and darker it got. Evangeline had to use her powers to light up the whole area. They kept on going until they came into a large room where everywhere millions of Clonlings were gathered. “They’re everywhere!” Asuna shouted. It was after her shouting that the little creatures looked at them and then attacked them with rage. Everyone was captured except for Kasey who transformed into a bat and flew his way out from the mob. “Kasey! Help us!” Negi shouted. Kasey didn’t know what madami to do. There were millions of them everywhere and he couldn’t fight them with just him as a bat. He had to figure something out. He did have an idea, but it wasn’t a good one. He tried to transform into different kinds of mga hayop and creatures hoping that the Clonlings would surrender and release them. But to his dismay, they weren’t practically scared of anything. After performing a scare tactic for the twentieth time, the little monsters had enough and walked slowly towards him with ropes and chains. Negi and the others could only watch with fear. “We have to do something,” Negi sinabi to the other girls. “Kasey will be doomed for good and he’s our only hope.” Despite his words, everyone else except Evangeline and Chachamaru were sobbing away. He turned his attention to Evangeline hoping she would agree. To his dismay, she just turned her head to the left with an anger expression- she didn’t want any part of it at all. Sense he was the only one who wanted to get out of this mess and help his friend, Negi tried his hardest to come up with a plan. After brainstorming for a while, he finally had a plan.

Using his magic staff, he chanted a spell that managed to break all of the straps, ropes, and chains. With this spell, Negi and everyone else broke loose and were free. But despite this celebration, there was work to be done. Kasey was about to be captured sa pamamagitan ng the Clonling pack! “Negi, I want you to let me fight them.” Asuna sinabi while walking towards him. Konoka, Setsuna, Kaede, Fuka, Fumika, and Makie offered the same request. Looking at everyone, Negi smiled and nodded. He chanted the Contract spell and released all seven Pactio Cards. All of the cards had the girl’s powerful forms which gave Negi a huge surprise. “We’re all in our armor forms,” Kaede said. “It seems like good luck was on our side.” Everyone was happy, but it was about to end if nobody would help Kasey out. Evangeline decided to sumali the battle and transformed into her adult form while chanting a spell. Suddenly, she unleashed a series of dark magic powers at the little monsters and all of them received a shock. The magic she used shocked them- one sa pamamagitan ng one. Everyone including Negi stared with amazement. “I didn’t know you had that kind of power.” Negi said. Evangeline smirked while responding, “You have to train yourself a lot to have these kinds of powers Negi.” While the attack did stun them, it didn’t last forever as the Clonlings turned their attention directly at them. Scared for their lives, all of the girls huddled together. Negi, Evangeline and Chachamaru got in front of them, ready to attack. Just then, a loud roar was coming from behind the little creatures. They as well as Negi and the others looked. The noise turned out to be coming from Kasey who transformed into a black leopard. His eyes weren’t visible and he looked evil. Negi and the others were concerned over what was going on with him. After a moment of silence, his face was made out. He had blood all over and his eyes were yellow with no pupils visible at all. The critters, Negi, and the girls stared with fear and chills all over their bodies. “Kasey, what have you done?!” Negi screamed. It was than that he started to speak, but it wasn’t his voice. “Shut up you puny wizard!” The voice said. Negi and the other girls suddenly realized who that voice belonged to. It was one of the members of the Wizards of Galeheart clan. “You guys were behind this whole thing,” Negi sinabi with anger. “But why? How did you guys know we were planning a party anyway??” That was when the voice of the bad guy explained- apparently he along with his clan was watching the whole event from a transporter device they happened to have created. When they knew about this party, they wanted to scare as well as ruin the night so they broken the selyo and released the Clonlings out into Mahora. This whole story gave Negi the chills. He just stood there in silence while looking at the ground and clenching his fists. Asuna and the others tried to stop him from getting too angry, but it didn’t work out too well. “You good for nothing loonatics,” Negi started to respond. “You think you can just come over here and try to scare us and ruin our lives with you and your powerful magic? You’re wrong!” The voice that was being controlled sa pamamagitan ng Kasey chuckled. “Is that a challenge you want little wizard? I warn you- you’re going to regret this cause if you choose to battle now, your friend here will die of suffering.” It was after this that Negi and everyone else gasped with fright. “Make your choice Negi…” After some thinking, Negi still couldn’t decide what to do. The girls were worried about this. What could they do? They don’t want Kasey to suffer wounds or die on them. It couldn’t end like this.

Suddenly, Chachamaru stepped in. “I will fight you.” She said. Negi and the others were shocked sa pamamagitan ng this. What was she trying to do? It wasn’t that she didn’t understand the outcome if she hurt him, she just wanted to do the honor in battling for Negi. Evangeline decided to team with her as well. “What are you two doing,” He exclaimed with fright. “You do realize what you’re doing right??” Evangeline turned to Negi and gave him a glare. “We already know what we’re doing! Just stop bragging please!” Negi didn’t want to believe her, but he had no choice. He stepped out of the way while she and Chachamaru were walking towards the posed Kasey. After a while of nothing, the evil panter performed the first ilipat which was a pounce attack. The two girls quickly jumped out of the way. Chachamaru then performed her first ilipat but missed. Evangeline then chanted a spell and the cat dodged it. oras after oras the battle went on. It wasn’t until then that the demonic Kasey finally performed a devastating blow on Evangeline. The girl was sent flying across the room and landed on the wall. She slowly fell to the ground and was passed out. Negi and everyone else tried to encourage her to get up, but it was no use. The evil cat let out a chuckle and turned his attention to Chachamaru who was ooking at her master. Because she wasn’t looking, she wasn’t aware of what came to her. Just then, Kasey charged at her with full speed and rammed her so hard causing her to break a little. She fell to the ground and was passed out due to power loss. Negi and the others cried for Chachamaru’s blow as well. Now with an evil, evil chuckle, the cat’s head slowly turned to Negi and the girls. “Now that those two are done, you’re susunod little Negi!” It was about to be the last stand for Negi until something happened. It seemed that the power that the Wizard was using to control Kasey was slowly fading away. Every once in a while, his voice could be heard but it was quite and staticy. When the power finally worn off, Kasey’s pupils were visible again but the stain of blood on his mouth didn’t go away. Negi and the other girls were delighted to know that he was returned to his normal self again. Despite all of this, something had to be taken care of- to bring the Clonlings back to the Magic World and prevent them from coming back again. With his staff, Negi performed a chant and the little beasts were sent back to the Magic World once again. Despite the fact that everything was going good again, there were other concerns too. Evangeline and Chachamaru were both in pretty bad shape. Satomi was in her lab preparing to bring Chachamaru back again while Negi and the others took Evangeline to a private room and put her into a bed. Negi assumed she would be alright and that all she needed was some rest.

After everything they have been through, Negi and the gang assumed that the Halloween party was already over sense it was 11:00. To their surprise, the party was still going on and everyone in the party room stared at them. They knew that they were gone for a long time and admitted they were worried sick. Ayaka was even worried about Negi. She was also worried about Makie and punished her for running out on her. Makie could only sob and cry. Negi apologized for not returning. Understanding, everyone cheered and the party continued as followed. Despite what he said, Negi didn’t want to come out with the truth about the Clonlings or anything. It would only worry everyone more. The party went on until 12:00 in the morning when everyone was yawning and were too weak to even walk. Negi and Kasey were especially tired. sa pamamagitan ng the time they got to Asuna and Konoka’s room, both were passed out completely. Asuna and Konoka were already fast asleep as well. Kasey opened his eyes a tad and looked at the ceiling. “Hey Negi,” He sinabi quietly. “What do you make of this year’s Halloween?” A moment of silence filled the room and his voice was then heard. “I think it was a pretty awesome Halloween..very adventurous too.” And with that said, the two went to sleep.
