See, if Bella had committed suicide she would have never had the chance to have a future with Edward. However, you may still argue the idea that Edward would have never appeared unless he heard her commit suicide. This is only a twisted version of Bella and Edward's reality because this is the kind of love that would have eventually found its own course and i do believe that if Bella had never fallen from the cliff Edward would have returned anyway, at least to check on her. He has devoted his existence to hers. He would not have been able to stand away forever. Besides, not only for vampires but olsa for humans :) it is sometimes the only (and the best) way to separate in order to test the durability of a relationship. Since Edward and Bella both LIVE (without committing suicide :) they are together once again: strong and determined. As a result, the story glorifies life and being open for what comes along. Every night ends up in daylight

I don't think so. I believe it may glofify suicide in some respects however it tells the same tale with Romeo and Juliet however nobody questioned Shakespeares brilliance.
