Of course there's an Internet in our country, but most of our people only have access to our country's intranet called Kwangmyong (literally Bright Light), and there's a Red Star OS installed on our smart devices. You probably never heard of any of them, but they're both real where I come from. Access to global network is a privilege, not a right in our country. I'm lucky to be one of those people who can access the Internet. Our country has its own top-level Internet domain and it's .kp.

We need a special authorization to access the Internet, and since our country is under international sanctions, even that is not enough, so we must find other ways to go online, but even when we do get connected, our Internet data traffic isn't unlimited like elsewhere in the world. It's also very expensive, so not many people in my country could afford it. I'm not one of those unfortunate people, but even I know my limitations. Couple of hours a day top.
