It won’t be long before Jake returns to the 9-9, but he’ll be a little busy taking down mobsters to focus on his love life. Of course, the big elephant in the room is addressed, but you’ll be surprised by what route Paralta takes once he’s back on the squad. However, the real shocker is how Gina handles what happened with Boyle in the finale.
With Olivia out of Washington, Fitz has one very important mission in mind. Sorry, it’s not trying to find his lost love. As he begins his second term in office, Fitz has decided to take his administration in a new direction, using his power as POTUS for good in order to make a positive impact on the nation. See, Olivia leaves and he’s a better president! Okay, you can hate me in the comments.
I know it seems implausible, but someone gets the upper hand on McGarrett in the 100th episode, violently taking him hostage and leaving nary a clue for the Five-0 team to track other than some blood in his car. Ruh-roh! So, who’s behind the kidnapping? I’d put my money on Wo Fat.
Will Henry be there for Regina after what happened in the season finale on
Henry may be the one thing that actually keeps Regina from slipping to the dark side again after Robin Hood’s long-dead wife, Marian, resurfaced in the present. “We’re going to see Henry on a mission with Regina this year,” executive producer Edward Kitsis says. “And maybe some of his light side will rub off on her.”
Lest we think Hetty is off the hook, she’ll be called to Washington D.C. to face an investigation into her use of funds and tactics in saving Kensi. I can exclusively reveal that John Heard (
) will portray Special Congressional Investigator Michael Thomas, who will be heading up the inquisition. Bonus Scoop:
’ Vance (Rocky Carroll) will also appear in the episode.
It sounds a little odd, but I’m surprisingly into it—though maybe that’s because I don’t want Gemma to get a happy ending. In a bid to provide a better life for Abel, Nero and Wendy take a road trip to get him enrolled in school, though it takes a near-nasty turn when Nero is surrounded by the Chinese, who are not too happy with how Jax is handling his recent loss.
’s honorable Judge Robert Parks) and David Costabile (
) will both guest-star in an early season 2 episode. Fonteno will play Senator Sheridan, a southern gentleman and longtime friend of Agent Cooper who runs the black-budget for the U.S. government. Costabile, meanwhile, is a blacklister named Dr. Linus Creel, a psychiatrist with a clinical curiosity who works at various psych wards and clinics around D.C.
Will season 3 bring on some more moments for the original trio (Diggle, Oliver & Felicity) of
Actually, that will become somewhat of a sore spot for Diggle this season as Oliver wants to keep him out of the field now that he’s going to be a daddy. “What’s Diggle’s identity?” executive producer Marc Guggenheim says. “Is he his own man, is he just Oliver’s sidekick, is he a father, is he a husband? He used to be a solider, now he’s a part of Oliver’s crusade. Is he going to end up at A.R.G.U.S.? He’s got some very hard choices to make.” Speaking of A.R.G.U.S., I hear there will be some new faces joining the Suicide Squad this season.
alum Jeffrey Nordling will guest-star in an upcoming episode as a real estate developer building a luxury mall along the Hudson river. Surely he’ll end up on Beckett’s radar, but wouldn’t it be cool if he appeared in the same episode as the long-awaited return of Annie Wersching’s Dr. Kelly Nieman so it’s a
reunion? Alas, my sources say there’s no update on when Wersching will actually be back this season.
’s Jess doesn’t have a lot of moves, how does she stand a chance with Reid Scott?
Look, it’s not going to be everlasting love or anything—she does have another guy lined up already, after all. Shockingly, Jess will take love advice from the last person you’d expect. “She ultimately decides to do something that Winston suggests, which is called the ‘Joe Biden,’ which is to just be there,” executive producer Liz Meriwether says. “She just tries to stay in the game.”
Best news I’ve heard all week: Sorry,
fans, but I’m more than happy that Bran won’t appear in season 5. Who cares about a damned three-eyed raven?!
That’s a wrap on this week’s Spoiler Room. Be sure to email your questions to spoilerroom@ew.com or tweet them to @NatalieAbrams.
