The band, consisting of Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, have had a sharp rise to stardom and have developed a dedicated fan-base already.

But for some, the temptation to choose a favourite is too strong, and it would seem that Harry Styles is the most popular with girls.

A Twitter poll sa pamamagitan ng OK! Magazine revealed that Harry and Zayn are the two most popular members, but Irish member Niall claimed that there was a clear favourite.

He said: 'Harry is definitely the most successful with women - it must be those curly locks making the girls swoon so much.'

For Harry, the whole situation is rather strange and has taken some getting used to.
'It's brilliant and a little bit strange,' he told Bang Showbiz.
He added: 'One minuto you're just a normal guy going about your daily life and the susunod minuto you're winning polls, signing autographs and that sort of thing. You definitely can't complain though.'

Styles also showed a humble side when he admitted that as individuals, the boys of One Direction may not have got as far as they have.

He said: 'I think we have a special something to bring to the competition as a group, which perhaps we couldn't have done sa pamamagitan ng ourselves.'
