Penguins of Madagascar Tanong

Why do the penguins look better in the series while the lemurs look worse?

I mean, in the movies, the penguins have almost no detail and look almost pixalated. But the lemurs have hair and have realistic eyes. Why are the ibong dagat CGIs better in POM while the lemurs have almost glowing eyes?

I can't explain the eyes, but I do know that the penguins' general shapes were all somewhat altered in order to make each one look unique. In other words, some confused the penguins in the "Madagascar" films; their "makeover" for TV was to ensure each ibong dagat had their own look.

For further details, here is an in-depth artikulo about the show's early development: link

As for the lemurs, Nickelodeon-DreamWorks did not have the time or funds to do balahibo in the series (which is also mentioned in the above article).

If you look closely at the penguins in the movies, you'll notice they have madami detail then they do in the telebisyon show. The difference is obvious with the lemurs, though.

The lemurs have fur. In the show, they are made less furry. Maybe it had something to do with the techonology they had for it that they had in the movie and not for the show?

That IS true. Madagascar had a larger budget than the show. But that still doesn't explain the penguins!

The penguins are the main characters. But I think the lemurs look better in the show. Though, Mort is cute being so fluffy. AWW.

Yes in the pelikula they look madami similar to each other, but they definitely had madami detail in the movies. Like others have said, the ipakita was animated differently than the pelikula and as a result the characters in the ipakita look madami flat than they do in the movies. Just like with the lemurs, you can see the penguins' feathers if you look closely whereas in the series it looks like paint:

Well, the appearance of the penguins has been altered for the series to make each one look madami unique (I know that's already been said, but it's true, so I'm saying it again, anyway XD). Their faces seem to match their personalities a lot more, probably because their personalities are far madami developed in the series than in the films. Because they are no longer side-characters, they've been, shall we say, upgraded. However, while the character designs have been improved for the series, the animation itself is less realistic. They haven't gone into as much detail on the feathers, probably because they spend less money on the series than on the films (that's what I'm assuming, anyway).

The same thing has happened to the lemurs; their character designs have changed (their faces are very different to how they are in the films), but the quality of their animation has gone downhill. This is much madami noticeable when it comes to the lemurs, because of all their balahibo and their big eyes.

Hmm... I get the feeling this is going to be one of those sagot I give that doesn't make ANY sense when I read it again the susunod day. XD
