Chapter 2-
The lobo
I felt my puso skip a beat as I heard the weighty malaking kahon plop on the tuktok of the H.Q. We were waiting for the zookeepers to leave. We heard one of them complain a little about not understanding something in relation to our transfer. Once the zookeepers left an awkward silence filled the room. ”Okay, let’s go meet our new inhabitant spy” I sinabi breaking the silence, we headed for the ladder. It was still early spring outside in the morning, I felt the chilly air run into my face as we lined up in front of the malaking kahon side sa pamamagitan ng side. We waited silently not knowing to open the malaking kahon or to wait for it to open it’s self. This we did not have to ponder long because it started opening sa pamamagitan ng it’s self. I like the others held my breath as the malaking kahon rattled. Finally after what seemed like ages it split open, and out came the animal containing it- a female tundra wolf. We stared in wonder and shock, I pinched myself to see if I was dreaming-No dice.
Chapter 3-
DOOMED . . . or maybe . . . not. . .
We all stared at the creature that had stepped out of the create (on all four). This was our new inhabitant? What were the humans thinking?! She had beautiful snow white fur, sleek long muscular legs and tuktok line. She had the most alert ocean blue eyes I have ever seen. Though, there was something wrong…her size. Instead of being huge like…like a…like a wolf, she was the size of a standard German shepherd-this is no tuta I tell you now, you can tell just sa pamamagitan ng glancing that she was way madami fierce and powerful then the average dog-she seemed ready to take down the world- one word for the over all....HOT.
“You must be the new ones I’m working with” she sinabi in the not cheery tone. I couldn’t help but notice that she did not bother introduce herself odd . . . or was she planning her menu. And it struck me, what did she mean sa pamamagitan ng the new ones I’m working with?
“These are Rico, Kowalski, Private and oh- I’m Skipper, leader of the team, head of the H.Q” I sinabi first pointing them out and then extending my flipper. She took it in the position you might ask a dog to shake.
“You are?”
“Anya”she answered instantly,
I elbowed Kowalski who stared at her in disbelief and a bit of worry
“I’m Kowalski and . . . a . . .” Anya seemed to sense his unease-Kowalski was so easy to read sometimes. Though, I could tell right away that Anya on the other hand was a . . . ‘unreadable’ type not that I am much better.
“Don’t worry I am not going to devour you or any thing like that” she assured us calmly keeping her cool smirk on. I relaxed a bit dose her diet it have to do with her under average size?
“How come?” Kowalski inquire still a little unsure
“Long story, just think of me as your new team member”Anya said. WHAT!!!! Her-our new team member!?
“You?” I blurted
“Yes me, problem” she sinabi sounding annoyed. I was confused and so were the others. I was pretty sure that one big tanong was circling our minds.
“-and again the eight time the confused faces”Anya sighed “no matter where I go, well seems like I just can’t avoid them” what is she talking about?!?
“Let’s go inside and get this thing straitened out, shall we Skipper?” Private asked breaking the ice.
Well, whatever it was I was bound to find out soon enough. . .
