I have to get braces today...advice anyone?

Be prepared for a lot of discomfort :P
Also BRUSH YOUR TEETH EVERY-TIME YOU EAT ! !
That is VERY IMPORTANT ! pagkain can get caught in places, even just a snack.
And keep your mind on the positive, you will look GREAT once their off :)

they hurt really bad for like a few days when you first get them on then it's fine from there. but always always always brush your teeth really really really good. one time when i had braces i ate kakaw puffs and one of my brackets came off so watch what you eat. and be careful chewing gum. they say you can't but i did just be careful. and there is always alot of saliva in your mouth. but when you finally get them off, you'll be sooooo happy.

sorry i have never had braces, but my friend told me that they hurt and that it takes a wial to get used to them. But uy your going to have kick asno smile onces you get them off ;)

I literally only had my braces for two weeks...well the bottom part anyways...they Nawawala the tuktok part in the mail -_-
it wasn't as bad as I thought. A little discomfort eating and chewing...I have to wear the tuktok spacer/retainer for three months and that itself is hellish!

Well, make sure u floss alot, cuz if u dont, getting the braces re-adjusted is gonna kill like a bitch! And the worst part is hat ur face is gonna hurt for like 5 days, make sure that u r stocked up on advil and pain killers...
