Alright, if you were close mga kaibigan with someone the same sex as you, and you both had gym changing lockers susunod to each other and you found out that that other person was gay/lesbian, what would you do?

First off, sorry if you actually are gay or lesbian and you think that I'm, like, excluding you or something. I'm not trying to.
Second, (just cuz I like answering my own questions) I don't really think that I would care. My best friend is bisexual, and I have another friend who's lesbian, and I don't feel weird around them or anything like that. I'm just curious to see what you peoples think.
(P.S. If this sounds politically incorrect at all, I'm sooooo sorry, I don't mean for this to sound anti-gay or anything like that.)

dont worry. it doesnt sound lik ur anti gay

It doesn't look like you're a homophobe, no worry. And I actully wouldn't care. Everyone has their own orientation. No one is "better" or "worse" because of their choice.

I'm a lesbian.

No, I am not going to bug out on you for sounding anti-gay, and with my answer I'm not speaking to you (the OP) specifically. I'm just gonna explain something.

Gays aren't attracted to everyone the same sex as them. I don't want to fuck ever girl I meet. My experiences in the locker room are as follows: I go in. I get changed. I don't feel any sort of attraction towards anyone else near me. I leave locker room. The end.

So there's absolutely no reason to feel weirded out. (Well, no legitimate reason, that is. Ignorance doesn't count.) It's a locker room. You're getting ready for gym. Maybe a lesbian or gay guy would feel a little spark of emotion for someone (a SPECIFIC crush) but straights feel the same thing. It's kinda like comparing a gay's locker room experience to a straight's pool party experience. The only situation where it might be at all awkward is if the gay in tanong had a serious crush on someone in that locker room. Of course, think about it. Such a bad, known crush would make it awkward for straights, too. There's no difference. Sexuality doesn't matter.

But since the tanong was 'how would that make you feel?' my answer is "Whatever." I quite obviously wouldn't care if the person susunod to me was gay. =P

I have a few mga kaibigan that are gay or bisexual. Unless I felt like they were seriously checking me out or something along those lines I wouldn't feel really that awkward. Then again it might be kind of flattering because if she found me good looking there would likely be guys that would find me good looking too. Hope that doesn't sound too weird.

I agree. I mean, I would feel a little weird, I still do with a few of my mga kaibigan , if you get where I'm coming from, but they're still my mga kaibigan and I know they won't try to force that on me, so we're all cool.

i am straight and i have 1 gay friend and 1 lesbian friend. in my experience, you shouldn't worry about it. your friend is still the same person. being in the same locker room section should not change anything. most gays and mga tomboy know to not go after the straights so i wouldn't worry about any attraction. my lesbian friend and i have been in the same locker room section sa pamamagitan ng the way. and she never looked in anyone's direction. she did what she had to do and got out. just don't let her feel bad for being a lesbian...after all she can't help who she is.

Why would someone feel bad for being a lesbian? (Unless someone was being a jerk to them. Thats never fun.)

^ Lol. Gays don't really WANT to be gay. If I had a choice, I'd be straight. You feel like a disappointment to your family. I think that's the biggest reason why a gay would feel bad about it.

I'm awkward about being nude in front of anyone including my dogs. I would treat it off as anything though, not pagganap differently. My best friend is bisexual and does not have any romantic interest in me. Most people don't have any romantic interest in me, and I'm pretty sure mga tomboy aren't attracted to every woman they see, so I wouldn't think twice about it.

im mga kaibigan with two bisexual girls (i was close to one of them when she told me she was bi and our relationship was the same if not stronger). the two used to go out, but one moved away. and i have gym with the one who stayed and we got to kno each other. so, yea. i got no problem with gays or bi's. :) their emotions r the same and they rn't really differnt from straight people.

Well, it wouldn't make any difference to me. Just because they're not straight, doesn't mean they're going to be attracted to you, just as a straight guy wouldn't necessarily be attracted to you. I have lots of gay friends, and it doesn't make any difference to me. We're all people, and I accept everyone for who they are, not matter what their sexuality.

One of my close mga kaibigan is a lesbian, and she confessed she had a crush on me, and yet I still didn't really feel weirded out then, even though I'm straight. I just had to tell her that I didn't think I could ever feel that way about her, and she understood, it's what she was expecting anyway. We've always been in eachother's pockets anyway, it didn't really surprise me that she wouldn't be having thoughts. She is a gorgeous girl though, it did get me considering. :)

I'm straight, but I know that I have a few gay friends. I have absolutely no problem with them. They don't try to force who they are (hense, it's who they are, okay people. They can't help who they are) on me, and I don't try to force my way of life on them. It's called simple respect and common curtoisy (I totally spelled that wrong). If you can't handle that, then you really need to shut up or go change in a bathroom or something. I'm not comfortable changing in front of anyone ever so that's what I did, and it's not for the gay thing. There's always other alternatives than being a jerk.

I only ever went into a locker room for a couple days, and i transferred out of gym after that.
My friend, who is bi, was there, but it was never awkward because i never got undressed or anything.

Seeing my friend getting undressed didn't affect me at all, but i was just embarrassed seeing everyone else get undressed.

And i dislike it when people think that just because they know a person who is gay, that person HAS to harbor some type of attraction towards that person. It's just plain stupid.
People have spread rumors about me going out with both of my bi best-friends, it was incredibly immature to assume such a thing.

Yeah. I usually go to the downstairs one so I'm sa pamamagitan ng myself if I have to change. But upstairs, the other people will be playing around and changing.
