Anyone ever had this problem with their Ipod?

I had an accident with my ipod a hours nakaraan ago; I was walking home, I tripped, I fell and my ipod hit the concrete pretty hard. Now something strange is happening to it;

If I were to play it without my headphones plugged in, I can hear music. But when I plug my headphones in, I can't hear a sound at all. I don't know what's wrong with it, or what I did or how to fix it.

Have you had this problem before and/or have any idea on what to do for it?
