What was the artikulo of Confederation?

It was a constitution before the actual constitution, signed in the 1800s.

The first form of government our country had. It failed, obviously.

First Constitution of the US. I believe it was written sa pamamagitan ng the Continental Congress around the time that the 13 colonies became states.

And there my knowledge ends. Eighth grade history class is a bit foggy. ._.

The artikulo of Confederation was the first constitution of the United States and specified how the Federal government was to operate, including adoption of an official name for the new nation.
To bad it failed between the colonies.......

It was a plan thought up sa pamamagitan ng Ben Franklin to form a Confederacy between the colonies, but it never worked.

I know this! I learned about it in History less than a few weeks ago. It was the first system of U.S. Government. It failed. Badly. Very Badly. SUPERbadly. I still haven't seen that movie. (Shrugs) Maybe when I'm older.
