Is it ok to fall in pag-ibig with your bestfriend?

Especially when they are taken? I know he has mutual feelings for me but he's stuck in a bad situation with his girlfriend... he still loves her but he feels that it won't last long but he's sinabi that for the past 2 months. I know that's not that long but.. is it bad that we have a thing behind his girls back and he doesn't feel bad about it since she cheated on him several times in the past. He told me when we halik it just feels right. He's been with her for 4 years and we've been mga kaibigan for over ten years. I used to think I was confused but since I confessed to him a couple months nakaraan my feelings for him have only gotten stronger because he shows me mutual feelings. Sigh.
