Your opinion on 'original characters'?

I'm not really one for OCs. I enjoy the canon characters more, and most people try and make their OCs fall in pag-ibig with their paborito characters or something like that. That's the only thing I don't like about them.

I like OCs I have a ton. And every charater is Someone's OC. Like, all the Invader Zim, JTHM, Squee,etc charaters are Jhonen Vasquez's OCs.

Depends on the OC actually.

...And OMFG, Why do i have to see the link to that 'Shitty Hetalia OCs' blog again?! I almost gag everytime i see that blog or even the link to it. 0_o
And i got my reasons too.

Some are legit. However, most are just created to get close to the person's paborito characters.

I have ocs theyre iz ocs but i dont make them fall in pag-ibig with dib or zim. Its madami like ocxoc. Because i just think its wrong to make your character fall in pag-ibig with an actual character from the show. Just.no.

It depends. I only have OC's for roleplay's. In the case where there's both OC and canon characters in a rp like the one on this spot, if during the course of events, an OC happens to fall in pag-ibig with a canon character if the canon character loves them back and the roleplayer of the canon character makes it that way, that's fine sa pamamagitan ng all means.

If there's no roleplay or similar, however, pairing an OC with a canon character is just plain stupid and, yeah, probably just an extension of the creator so they can get into their paborito characters pants.

And that's what I mostly judge all OC's off of. xD If there's no rp but they aren't paired with a canon character either, I don't really mind or care, if they have a good backstory and are legit seeming. Some, however, are just over the top, Mary Sue's, and that is what I cannot STAND. Like this one parang buriko OC I saw with a bahaghari tail, purple coat, and blue-ish mane who was "Twilight Sparkle's long-lost sister destined to kill Fluttershy".

It depends.
It depends on how Sue-ish the OC is, if it's being used for fanfiction or RP, and how they act.

I could go on and on about this, but I'm much to lazy right now.

I dont really like OC's. Most of them are just made so one of the canon characters fall in pag-ibig with them. A lot of OC's are Mary Sues .__.

pangkalahatang alot of OCs I have seen were interesting characters and I like them but like others have sinabi some are just pointless.

Depends on how well the character was written.

For one, they're just so fangirls can 'date' whoever they're fangirling over, so when another fangirl comes into the picture, it starts a war. "OMFG YOO STOLL MA KAITOO-NII!! asarol DAER YOO BICTH!"
-.- I think at this point, you've pretty much killed who/whatever your fangirling over. Some of them are ok, though. Like for example, my friend had an OC where she had friendships and got into fights a lot, but she wasn't a 'Mary Sue' and all the male characters were in pag-ibig with her. Also, she didn't have giant boobs, or had one of the stereotypical anime personalities and was over-all written pretty well.

Depends on the character.

The only thing I hate about them is some people only create OC's just so they can get into their paborito character's pants. Also if they have unnatural hair color while everyone in the series has normal hair color, that's kinda of annoying imo. Everyone has black, brown, or blonde hair and someone creates an OC with purple hair.
