People who've read the Hunger Games, I need your help!

To the people who have read the Hunger Games, I need your help, please!
My friend wants to do an art trade with me thru deviantart. They want me to draw the fashion of the Capitol, and I haven't read the books yet (I know, I need to read them quick T^T I'll get it from my brother sometime), so I don't know much about it.
I heard that it's very crazy, like, Lady Gaga style. Just fashion to the extreme, I'm guessing? And according to some fans/friends, the movie didn't go as extreme as the book described; so, watching the movie isn't really going to help me that much....
Anyways, I would like any details you guys might remember from the books. Anything will help me out with this susunod drawing!
