Not counting the early childhood filled with Pokemon and Sailor Moon, I started pagbaba manga when I was in 4th grade, so about 9 to 10 years old. I started watching the anime for my favourite manga series' in 6th grade when I was 11.

When I was about 4 or 5, my first anime was Sailor Moon. All I know is I was at an age were I retained only the name of the anime, some of the characters' names, and bits and pieces of the plot. The only 4, 5, and 6 years old for me are the points were my memories are a bit fuzzy. Nehelenia, Sailor Moon, and Sailor Mercury are the characters I remembered most distinctly.
