Why are books better then the pelikula

the books r better because you interpret the book in your on way like for example if your making a movie of wht u read in your heard you may picture the characters differently then the movie or think they would sound differently etc.

The original media is A:WAYS better. Whether it's an anime,comic,video game,visual novel,manga,book,etc. It's always better. The movie may not have time to put in as much stuff as the original media or they may just fuck it up completely.

ONE GOOD EXAMPLE would be the X-men movies.

Rogue was not wimpy. She was a very powerful female character and my paborito in the X-men but they made her into a little Nawawala child,clingy,whiny bitch. (No offense to the actress but I absolutely hated her character in the movies) Same thing with Storm, Iceman and many others. The one they got the most accurate was Wolverine.

And not to mention Spider-man-3. I hate that movie with a passion. Did not follow the comic book at all.

Tons of media are constantly adapted into pelikula and most of the time they absolutely suck. Jumper and Push books were supposedly better the movies. I heard Harry Potter books were better than the movies. IMO the original media is always better than the movies.

Ususally with some pelikula they will leave out some things that were in the book.

Like in the hunger games,if they had included everything tht was in the book in the movie,people sinabi it would ave been rated R

It honestly depends on the book/movie but it's not always true...especially if they don't stray from the book too much.

Books are better than pelikula for your imagination will always be greatest.

pelikula ALWAYS CRUSH MY IMAGINATION!!! D: like in certain scenes in books i think of it differently! But then they mess it up and i forget what it once looked like in my head D: like percy jackson totally messed up in the movie...i DIED when i watched tat terrible movie!!!!!

Books are better because they give madami background than the pelikula do and you are able to use your imagine.Movies are there to give people a picture of what things are like and how it is.It makes it easier for people who don't use their imagination very well when it comes to reading...

Because when you read books, you activate the most powerful thing in the world; your imagination. Plus, with books, there’s madami room for assumptions and various interpretations; they make you think. Books enrich your vocabulary and knowledge as well. Books tell you things with madami detail.

pelikula give you an excuse to fall into a state of trance in front of an illuminated plastic-box with a bucket of papkorn between your legs. :P

I think that most of it is just because the book is the original. It's just like fanfiction will never be as good as the original.

Also, when reading, you can interpret everything for yourself. When watching the movie, it's all laid out for you and you're forced to picture things the way the producer pictured them.

pelikula made from popular books are often half assed when the writers know that they have to put their puso and soul into Pagsulat to even so much as get a book published.

Because books are written sa pamamagitan ng the actual person who had the actual inspiration. So basically, pelikula that are based on books tend to be a little less descriptive because 1) the person who directed the movie doesn't have the actual inspiration and 2) the movie obviously has to be shorter because it can't be as long as the book- so, parts are cut out.

Well i don't read books i just pretend to so i want get in big trouble and pelikula are long like books well a little shorter but i dont like books

They leave for opportunities for a reader's imagination to run through. Most Movie adaptations suck because the directors are in charge and they like to change things

Authors put time and effort into the books, then Hollywood rushes in, takes the name, throws the movie together, and puts it into theaters to get their money as fast as possible.

Hollywood's just a bunch of greedy pigs.

Books are almost always better because of the greater insight you get into the characters' heads. There are also madami details that pelikula just don't cover, if only because the pelikula would end up being hours and hours longer.

One glaring exception, in my opinion, is Jaws. The movie is just that good. The book has silly sub-plots that don't go anywhere, and the dialogue is flat.
