I didn't know that, but it doesn't bother me. A famous tsokolate maker *coughGodivacough* refined their processing technique some years back to remove madami insect parts from the final product. Customers actually complained that the tsokolate didn't taste as good as it used to. Go figure.

There's probably much, much worse things in them than bug cocoons. That seems almost healthy compared to some of the things I imagine they put in sweets.

Did you know: That 2% of protein found in all manufactured pagkain items, that's insect parts. So hearing about the kendi is really no big deal.

Meh. I don't like skittles or jellybeans that much, and I already knew that, so I'm indifferent, I guess.

I don't eat them alot anyway nor do I fun this surprising. I probably will eat them every now and again even after knowing that info. You know why? Because a human being swallows hundreds of bugs in their lifetime so eating madami bugs isn't that bad.
