Help, please? (Not a stupid romance question, this is serious)

Hi!
So, uh i need help. See, i'm making a homemade present for my mom this year. Like, what im doing is a handwritten cook book.
Do you guys have any really good recipes that i could use?
I'll take anything, desserts, entrees, main courses. :3

Thanks~

Does your mom like spicy food? If she does, then I really suggest you add this coconut hipon kari to the cookbook. It's super yummy and it's perfect for a cold winter's day. And it comes from my own homemade cookbook!

1 tablespoon oliba oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 jalapeno pepper, stemmed and seeded, minced
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1 tablespoon kari powder
1 28 ounce can kaakit-akit tomatoes
1 1/2 cups coconut milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pound shrimp, peeled
1/2 cup cilantro

Heat oil in deep skillet or sopas pot. Add sibuyas and saute until soft but not brown, 2-3 minutes. Add garlic, jalapeno, ginger and saute until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add kari powder and continue sauteing, 1 minute. Add tomatoes, coconut milk, salt and pepper; simmer 5 minutes. Stir in hipon and cook until they turn kulay-rosas and are just cooked through. Stir in cilantro. Taste to adjust seasoning. Serve immediately over rice.

You're welcome! I hope your mom enjoys it as much as I do. Btw, it's really sweet that you're making her a homemade present. Those are always the best =)
