The reason they don't have the option to change is because it would get confusing. Hard to recognize mga kaibigan who can change how they look (icon) and they're name (username)
Not to mention most people roleplay
Some people would lose track of mga kaibigan and leave the site

Well, as far as I know, I don't believe one would be able to change their username unless they make a new account. So basically the same answer as almost everybody else.
But making a new account can be a hassle. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Many people regret their usernames. The type of person you are isn't necessarily defined sa pamamagitan ng your username.

I had an account I made about three years ago. That was when I was very young and I had no bloody idea what I was doing or saying. After time I came to regret the username I chose (not to mention I did some pretty stupid things back then). So I made a new account. In the end, I regretted making that decision madami than I regretted my username. Sure, I didn't do the smartest things, but I still saw myself grow over time. I had also Nawawala contact with many of my old mga kaibigan once I made this account. That might just be because Fanpop isn't quite as much of a party as it used to be. But to make a long story into a short one, I wouldn't worry about changing your username.
