What would you do?

I just remembered a tanong that our teachers asked us at school and decided to ask it here.

Situation:
Your country is at war with some other country and it has gotten really heated. It had become so heated that your country decided to drop an atomic bomb on the enemy country. You are an important part of the army, therefore you have been chosen to be a person who would drop the bomb.

Question:
Would you be able to do it?

Personally, I wouldn't be able to do it, because it would mean killing innocent people like women, children and old people, who wouldn't even have anything to do with the war, so... no

I don't know, usually conflict directly leads to madami casualty's so bombing them would reduce the number of casualty's on my side.

Did any of you who sinabi yes, even bother to think what this war you would be dropping a bomb for is even about? What even started it? How do you know you're not dropping a bomb and killing thousands for a war that you don't understand? There's been a huge amount of wars in history that have been started for the most pointless reasons. How do you know you're not killing thousands, in a war that's as senseless as the Iraq war, or the Vietnam War, ect. A war that had no meaning to start in the first place.
Maybe I would. Just maybe. It would depend on the circumstances. But there's no fucking way in hell I would murder anyone until knowing 100% fully what it was for in the first place.
