How would you feel if your BF sold his car for your engagement ring?

I was thinking about proposing to my girlfriend mid Jan. I am a kamakailan college graduate and have spent all of my money on an extra and impractical sports car. The car is worth about 15,000, it is a modified Rx7. I daily drive my 1999 Honda Accord and am thinking about selling my extra car to purchase about a 7,000-9,000 dollar ring for my future fiancé and putting the rest of the cash in our savings account. I am beginning to think that I am going over-board with her engagement ring situation.

How would you feel if your boyfriend did this for you? Is it a good gesture or would you think that he sacrificed to much? I been building the car for 2 years.

um no i dont think either of us actually would get jealous of each other’s mga kaibigan like as long as you have your priorities set straight and reasonable then you shouldn’t have a problem :) x

I personally would think he's crazy to spend so much on a ring but that might be just me!
She might feel special that you care enough ^^ Just...be very thoughtful about what you put money towards.
