What was your first impression of the stars, when you were a kid?

I can first remember that I used to stare of one of them for a few minutos and, when I eyes became blurred, I'd be hoping to be transported to them. Obviously, it never worked, otherwise I'd have been burned to a crisp in less than a second. XD

^ I dunno. I didn't know what stars were then. I thought I'd land on some kind of cool, sci-fi world, or something. My imagination was way madami active than my ability to learn shit. XD
