For those who like Black, just because of it why others assume it's something bad or relate it to sadness?

My mom says it reflects ill omen, but I adore black. It looks cool... Swag you know XD Moreover it looks trendy and is easier to pick. Even if I have thousands of color shade in front of me, I would end up picking black lol. I don't think there's anything wrong in it.

I adore it; everything I buy (predominately) is black. Earbuds, clothes... Haven't really come across too many people that dislike it or think sinabi way, except for old-school Christians.

I think a lot of people associate it with badness is because black is associated with darkness which people (on a biological level) fear to some extent. Black has just been used as a symbol for sadness for so long that it's just common place to think so.

But personally I think that it's a lovely absence of color and it's aesthetic af.

Rather than just Sadness, I'd say that people correlate Black with Uncertainty and the Unknown. Whatever happens to be Dark. It's harder to see that way. A primeval instict that survives till today. One of the oldest of the old as far as Emotions go. Fear. Naturally, Negativity comes along with it. When you just sit and think about it, sinabi Color is just that like all the rest.

Personally, I always loved it (not that there is a Color that I don't lmao) and find it aesthetically pleasing on a lot of things !!!!

I pag-ibig black- I wear black clothes often and my handbag / computer / mesa / etc etc are black. I prefer muted colours over in-your-face ones.

If I had to assign some adjectives to it: mysterious, contemplative, sophisticated. I don't regard it as sad or pessimistic.

It's also used a lot in badass anarchist aesthetics and my "fuck the system" streak loves it lol
