Am I the only normal person who hates Valentine's Day?

i don't know if you could consider me normal but i don't care for Valentine's araw much either.

i call it Hallmark's Holiday. if you're going to express to someone that you pag-ibig them then you should do it everyday and not just one specific araw out of every year. ipinapakita pag-ibig on Valentines araw is fine as long as thats not the only araw and you also really mean that you pag-ibig them and its not just some gifts to keep your partner from fussing at you and to compensate for your lack of real love.

Oh i hate it too, you're not alone. That reason makes sense.

The only reasons i like it are that i get kendi and i reject people. many people.

Oh I hate Valentine's araw as well. I makes me sad to think of all the people who will commit suicide today.

I'm not necessarily a tagahanga of it, but I pag-ibig sappy romantic stuff, so it's like I'm required to like it.

I do find it ironic, though, that Valentine's araw is about pag-ibig when the real Saint Valentine had died with anything but love.

He was beaten with clubs and stoned; when that didn't finish him, he was beheaded outside the Flaminian Gate. He'd been killed so brutally because he'd helped Christians at his time who were being persecuted for being Christian, and at that time helping Christians was taboo.

Stupid Atheists found him out and murdered him.

I don't hate it! Although I sometimes get depressed on this day, I always pag-ibig the painted hearts everywhere, the candies, the flowers, the texts in the mobile wishing lots of love. Of course we should celebrate pag-ibig everyday, but is it bad loving someone madami for one day?

I hate it too, and New Years. There so pointless.

I don't hate it or pag-ibig it. First of all, it makes people who have just broken up feel horrible. If you just broke up with your bf or gf and they've already found someone else, watching them be all lovey on Valentine's araw will probably just make you want to go tahanan and cry.

For people who just have no "relationships" it means absolutely nothing. They feel the pag-ibig go around, but they can't be part of it. It's just another araw of the taon to them.

And for those in a relationship, if you give each other gifts on Valentines, it will make all the other days have lesser love, or so the couple thinks.

Overall, it's just another araw to make couples give gifts, or else they don't pag-ibig each other. Single people just find this to be another day, so it shouldn't mean much to me.

I used to pag-ibig it because of the tsokolate and fun cards with mazes on them but now I don't like it because I don't get tsokolate anymore :(. And I might like it better if I found the "One."

I only like it this taon is because it's on the same araw as Lunar New Year...

I used to freaking pag-ibig it cause you know when you were little and you would make the"mail boxes" and then at the class party go around and pass out your card to everyone and it would all be great you would get tons of kendi and those little converasation hearts that taste like chalk.... now it just makes single people fell like shit....so i dont hate it but its not my favorite.

I fell the same way... it is the worst hoilday in the year.. personally it looks like some to people would look to each other every araw of teh taon not just one DAMN time I mean it looks like you would want a bulaklak and tsokolate every day... It makes me mad...
