How do I get black sharpie off my kahel backpack * read paglalarawan for madami details*

Okay a couple of months nakaraan my stupid ex boyfriend wrote his name on my back pack in black sharpie and now I don't want it on there and it won't come off. Iv tried nail polish remover and it didn't work. It's an kahel L.L. sitaw back pack and it's kinda a flannel cargo fabric. Any help would be SOOO appreciated THANK YOU!
