Sports Seoul on April 20 where she revealed her surprise that her rejection of \'Mitsubishi\'s endorsement offer became such a big deal in the media. 

Earlier, the actress had garnered attention for turning down a brand deal from the Japanese automobile maker for their alleged use of forced labor during the colonial era.

Song Hye Kyo stated, "I didn\'t know how big it became in the media. I was so surprised. I think everyone, not just myself, would have made the same choice had they received such an offer."

Koreans\' patriotism is too far up their asses to think about the future. They are way too concerned with what happened in the past which is a problem. But in Song Hye Kyo\'s case, she is not doing this due to her patriotism as she claims. A couple of years ago she had a scandal for not paying her taxes, and although she paid them already, k-netizens still remember that. All these articles of her rejecting the Mitsubishi CF is just media play. Any excuse to hate Japan is enough for Koreans.

Then Koreans are lucky the Japanese don\'t seem to take it personally, especially the younger generation. If they did, and they stopped going to kpop concerts, buying kpop music, and watching k-dramas, the Korean entertainment industry would be fucked. This is the perfect example of biting the hand that feeds you.
