A 16-year-old boy who fought off a rare apparent lobo attack in northern Minnesota says he won't be sleeping outside anytime soon.

Noah Graham of Solway was camping on Lake Winnibigoshish with five mga kaibigan last weekend. He told The Pioneer of Bemidji that he was talking with his girlfriend just before the animal chomped the back of his head early Saturday.

Minnesota Department of Natural Resources officials think it's the first documented serious-injury lobo attack on a human in Minnesota.

SUMMARY
Graham's girlfriend fled to her Jeep, while two other members of the camping...

Well so much for progressive thinking in Oregon. Cattle trump mga lobo again. The ranchers are whining about six guya depredations when they’ve Nawawala hundreds probably thousands of calves to coyotes, weather, disease. Why aren’t they complaining about that?

I want the figures on cows and calves Nawawala to non-predation and predation other then wolves, since the beginning of 2010. The new NASS numbers should be out but won’t cover 2010. Stop pagganap like...

I read an opinion piece in the Salt Lake Tribune concerning mga lobo return to the state. It’s been years since canis lupus roamed their native lands in Utah, they were extirpated from most of America, save a few pockets of mga lobo in Minnestota. But in order to make it to Utah they have to tumawid the “no lobo zone” in Idaho and Wyoming. No easy task since two wolves, trying to set up tindahan in Utah, were recently killed for livestock depredation. I always take these reports with a grain of salt because I know and the “wildlife managers” will admit, if asked, that mga lobo are a mere blip...

The livestock lobo paradigm is a fairy tale, told to justify the quest for a predator free landscape. Yet almost every media ulat concerning mga lobo concentrates on ranchers and cattle losses.

Coyotes are the number one predator of cattle, namely calves but even the little “song dog” does very little damage. Please stop listening to this drivel and arm yourself with facts. This lobo hunt is Salem, Massachusetts all over again.

Myth drives these political hunts. One of the most repeated is, ”wolves are decimating game herds” , another over the tuktok accusation. Did you know there are almost...

21 Idaho mga lobo and 7 Montana mga lobo have been killed in the hunts, that number is going to climb very quickly once the cold weather arrives and forest cover is gone. Trapping in Idaho will lay mga lobo low. You will see the numbers of dead mga lobo skyrocket into the hundreds and all this is completely unnecessary.

There is no reason to hunt wolves, it’s a political witch hunt. The livestock industries’ hysteria concerning mga lobo is pure theater. Here are the cattle loss figures for 2010:

Cattle Losses 2010
Non-predation (NASS)
Idaho 86, 900
Montana 74,800
Wyoming 37,100

Total Non-Predation: 198,800 cows

===

lobo Predation (USFWS)
Idaho 75
Montana 87
Wyoming 26
========================
Total lobo predation: 188 cows

AND

Even though the hunts are in full swing, Wildlife Services is still killing wolves, paid for sa pamamagitan ng the American people. Remember the kamakailan aerial gunning of 3 mga lobo on the Peavey Flat tuktok Ranch in Idaho?
