It was the first game I ever played on the NES. Up to that point I had only played Atari games and Pac Man. So this blew me away. I think I saved the princess at least a hundred times 6th grade year. Whenever I play it now, it reminds me of my childhood. It is one of those classic games that withstands the test of time.

It is a revolutionary game for it's time and it helped revive the gaming industry from the great video game crash of '83. While I wouldn't say it's the best in the franchise, it's still fun today and I definitely recommend checking it out. :3
