ok this is really pissing me off why was roy and mewtwo not in brawl and god damn ike and lucario r i mean lucario isnt even legendary and ike is sooooooooooooo god damn cheap all iam looking 4 r ansewrs?

I dont know! They took out Roy,Marth,Mewtwo,and Pichu just so they could put in Lucario,Ike,Sonic,and Solid Snake! The old Characters were much better.AND THEN THEY PUT IN METANIGHT TO! WTC?

Mewtwo is replaced sa pamamagitan ng Lucario and Roy is replaced sa pamamagitan ng Ike

I think they removed Roy because of the complaints they got about clone characters (Roy basically had the same moves as Marth, but madami advanced). I'm not sure why they removed Mewtwo though. I guess they just decided to replace him with Lucario.

I see what ur saying. Lucario is stronger but Mew2 is faster (that's understandable), but i can understand why ur so upset about Roy not being in the third smash bros. He was a powerhouse! Ike is too but he isn't powerful AND fast.
But to answer ur question, it's simply because not enough players were using them. They had to replace them. They were going to replace Ness with Lucas but they couldn't cause he's a verteran. What I mean sa pamamagitan ng that is, if they were veterans from the first game, they would've been in brawl for sure. Just wait for the susunod one! Maybe they'll be in that one! :)
