Hi!, I'm rewatching all episodes from season 1 to season 6, and knowing from season 5 that Sam was Lucifer's true vessel for all that Michael, God destiny thing, my tanong is: what was the reason for the other special children that Azazel fed?

So why did he go after Rosie in Season 1 was he planning to do this again in another 23 years?

then again it could have been a way to split Sam & Dean away from John so Azazels kids could kill John or at least snatch him...anythings possible :)

Two thoughts: 1. Azazel had all the time in the world so maybe he was continually choosing kids to bleed in case his first batch didn't work out. Perhaps there were a handful of kids every year. 2. Maybe he sent that vision to Sam not because he really wanted Rosie but because he wanted to draw Sam out. Perhaps it was a test to see how far Sam had come in his psychic abilities. Plus, it also flushed out the whereabouts of the bisiro and we know that Azazel was looking for it in the proceeding episodes. This is my paborito theory of the two. After all, sa pamamagitan ng that time Azazel was already talking to the other special children, but he couldn't exactly speak to Sam since Sam already hated him. He would have to have another way to contact Sam.

Yeah theory 2 sounds better and might be what azazel did cos he wanted to know where the bisiro was

Thanks for the answer, you guys have interesting theories, but my point is why bother with other special children, if Lucifer and even Ruby knew that Sammy was the true vessel, didn't Azazel know? Lucifer didn't have time to explain him ;) ?

I think he was putting sam to a test to prove that he was the true vessel or maybe he really didn't know sam was always going to be the vessel

Sam was the strongest as he was also drinking Demon blood from Ruby so he had an unfair advantage over the rest. Ruby helped him to kill Lilith for her own gain. In Jewish mythology Lilith was created sa pamamagitan ng god and was Adams first wife she left him and took up with the arch angel Samael/Satan and had many demon children to him Azazel was her first born and it was he who showed Tubal-Cain how to make weapons. The only two immortal female demons were Lilith and Naamah both wifes of Satan so I dont know how Sam could kill her,. Half breed demons can be killed but not full breed demons. The thing people get mixed up is with is that Lucifer and Satan are the same person when in fact they are not. Again in Jewish myth God killed 100 of Lilith's demon children a araw so maybe Lilith was trying to replace the ones she had Nawawala with the help of her son Azazel, after all Lilith's reveange for Gods punishment was to corupt Gods creation ie the children of Eve.

1. Most angel's vessels are down to bloodlines. They claim that Dean and John and Adam were all possible Michael vessels because of the family's bloodline.
2. Gabriel gave another explanation. He claimed that Sam and Dean were the true vessels because their relationship with each other and their dad reflected the heavenly one.
3. Then you have the background info you're questioning. Azazel fed his blood to loads of children, and made deals with even madami parents because he wouldn't know which ones would have a less than 1 taon old baby in a decade's time. That suggests that whoever won his competition was meant to be Lucifer's vessel.
