So we all know that "In My Life" is John's first autobiographical song, and he's pag-awit about people and places he used to know and all that. Or if you didn't know, well, that's what I've heard about it anyway, and it rings true to me. But if we interpret the song like that, there's still one part that's a little confusing.
"In my life, I pag-ibig you more".
Who is John talking about? Who did his life culminate in loving, so that in 1965, he can say he loves this "you" madami than anything or anyone?
