The Loud House premieres this Monday on Nickelodeon with ‘Get The Message’, my first board on the series.  It’s been a blast working with Chris Savino and crew- they even let me board the opening, which Jam Filled knocked out of the park with some slick animation. Get your eye balls on Nickelodeon this Monday!

Today’s crew profile is with our incredible post production supervisor, Amy Reynolds! 

I became interested in animation as more than a passive viewer once I got my first job working with animators and realized how cool it was. I was fascinated by everything pretty quickly. 

My first animation job was an Office Coordinator for an animated show that lasted about 15 seconds… No one ever saw it really, it was called Game Over. It was on UPN, a network which doesn’t even exist anymore. 

If you could befriend one animated character, who would it be and why?

Piglet from Winnie the Pooh. That guy needs a hug and someone to help him plan things. 

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

No matter what the job is, be the best at it you can be- hired to sweep floors? Be the smartest and best floor sweeper they’ve ever had. 

If you had to eat one kind of food every day for the rest of your life, what would you pick?

Pizza. The good kind. Not the totally lame kind. Although, really, it’s pizza, so I’d eat it anyway.

The show I draw backgrounds for is premiering tonight on Nickelodeon at 5PM EST! And there will be a new episode every day this week at the same time!!

This week’s crew profile is with one of our awesome storyboard artists, Jordan Koch!

I was 4, and I saw the Lion King at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. My sophomore year of high school I realized I could combine my interests in acting, filmmaking, and drawing, into animation.

Doing poster designs for upcoming animated features (and later moved into character design and storyboarding) at a start-up animation studio. 

Fred Flintstone. I’m sure he has a mean handshake, and he would probably go out for 25 cent wing night.

When I first moved to Los Angeles, I received a coffee mug with the phrase “Make It Happen” on it, as a gift. As I unpacked my bags and boxes, I realized I didn’t have anything to put my toothbrush in, so I just used that mug. Three years later, it still holds my toothbrush in my bathroom, and every morning I’m reminded to “Make It Happen.”
