THE FINAL GIRLS: Nina Dobrev Unveils New Movie Clip at SXSW 2015! 

While we spent our Friday the 13th reeling over Caroline Forbes’s official initiation into the Bad Girls’ Club, Nina Dobrev was living large at the 2015 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival at The Paramount Theater. The 26-year-old actress hit up this annual indie event to promote her upcoming horror-comedy film,

Joined by her co-stars Alexander Ludwig, Malin Akerman, Taissa Farmiga, Alia Shawkat, Angele Timbur, Adam Devine, and Thomas Middledith, Nina participated in a round of fun interviews and dished on her latest project.

So what’s the movie about? Well, the concept is definitely gory yet fun: It focuses on a group of besties who find themselves trapped in a campy ’80s slasher film which stars their friend Max’s (played by Taissa) deceased mother. In order to escape this terrifying world and return to reality, they must defeat the murderous villain. No stranger to playing vixens (Katherine Pierce forever!) Nina portrays Vicki, the bitchy ex-best friend of Max (played by Taissa Farmiga) who gets stuck in a life or death situation.
