Can you give me a short but good summary of the Mortal Instruments?

I'm just going to give you the first book's summary because I don't want to spoil the rest of them for you, what I will tell you is that there are five books total so far- City of Bones, Ashes, Glass, Fallen Angles and Nawawala Souls. The first starts out with a teenage girl named Clare Fray whos goes to this club with her best friend-Simon-and she witness the death of a demon sa pamamagitan ng these three Shadowhunters. Later after a big fight between Clare and he mother she and Simon go out for coffee and their she sees-a specific-shadowhunter-whos name will not be spoken. Whom only she can see, and segundos later she gets this call and rushes tahanan to be attached sa pamamagitan ng this Raven and her mother missing. She is found by-that specific-shadowhunter and taken to his world where he meets those other two shadowhunters and their mentor. Also they will help track down her mom the rest is up to you to find out. And if you have any tanong feel free to ask. :-)
