Edward POV
I walked into the house, everyone wearing a grin.
"Daddy!" Alicen whisper yelled. She had done an amazing job keepnig this a secret. she ran to me and I picked her up in my arms. "I missed you, Daddy."
"I missed you too, Little Soldier."
I could hear Bella's voice telling Jasper to get out of the kitchen. I kissed Alicen's head with a chuckle and set her back down on the floor.
One sa pamamagitan ng one, the women left the kitchen, giving me a hug as they passed. I walked inot the kitchen, instently being hit with the smell. I knew Mom's turkey was in the oven, Rose's pies were sitting on the island, Alice's green sitaw cassarole was covered with foil. Bella's mashed potatoes were sitting, also covered, sa pamamagitan ng Alice's cassarole. My eyes finally landed on Bella. Her hair was longer than when I left, dark, curly, and stopped about three inches passed the middle of her back.
She was wearing a white short sleeved knitted sweater, dark skinny jeans and stub heel, ankle boots.
"Mmm." I walked my way over to stand behind her. "Something smells good in here."
She froze before slowly turning around and looking up at me. "Edward." She whispered.
Before I could say anything she had pulled me down to meet her lips. Not that I was complaining because I loved this side of Bella. "Surprise." I laughed againt her lips.
She pulled back blushing. "I'm sorry. I just really missed you." She wrapped her arms around my waist and pressed her fourhead to my chest.
"Don't apoligize." I chuckled. "I missed you too." I kissed her head and she looked up at me, confusion across her face. "Wait..did everyone know about this? How did you get here? Where is your stuff? Your clothes?"
I laugehd, throwing my head back, and pulled ehr too me again. "Yes. Jasper. Jasper's trunk. I packed them before I left." I smiled. "In that order."
"Even Alicen knew? The one the got her mouth from Alice?"
"Yeah." My stomache growled..again. "Okay. Mom's timer is going off, everything else is going to get cold...let's eat." I told her.
She kissed me again and called everyone in to eat.
Emmett, of course was the first one in. Rose was pulling on his shirt, reminding him that the kids out go first. Emmett huffed and sat down on a bar stool, waiting for his turn. Mom was telling everyone to clear so she could set down the turkey and cut it. Alice was standing beside Jasper who hand is hand on her now madami then slightly bulging stomach. Bella was making Alicen's plate, not that everyone had been ibingiay the okay to start, pointing to things for Alicen who nodded and pointed to the susunod thing. It was good to be home.
My father must have noticed my staring at Bella because I soon felt his hand on my shoulder and he stood beside me. "I think Christmas. What do you think?"
I smiled at him and nodded. "Christmas."
*~*~*~*~*
As a tridition, we were all staying at my mothers. Everyone was down in the basement, watching televison, playing pool or air hockey. We did this every pasko eve. i had captured Alicen and brought her upstairs. I buttoned up her amerikana all the way up to her neck and put on her kulay-rosas hat.
"Where are you taking my daughter at eight o'clock and on pasko eve?" Bella was standing in the doorway, coffee sup at hand.
"Last minuto pasko gift." I winked at her and stood up from my knee.
"Well don't stay out too long." She walked over and kissed me. "Hurry back."
"To you, always." I smiled and kissed her again.
"Keep your gloves, hat, and amerikana on. It's cold out." She told Alicen and crouched down to her level.
"I will, Momma." She nodded and hugged her neck.
I gave Bella one last halik and left.
*~*~*
"Daddy?" Alicen called to me.
"Yeah, Baby?" I asked.
"What about this one?" I turned to see her pointing into the glass.
"I'm sorry Carmen. Excuse me for a second." I told the clerk.
"Of course." She smiled.
"Which one?" I asked as I bent down to her, resting my hands on my knees.
"That one. Number 5-9-9." she pointed.
I chuckled as she told me price, not the number, then smiled as I thought about how perfect it was.
"That's the one." I picked up Alicen and gave her a halik on the cheek.
She wiggled out of my arms and pressed her nose to the glass. "Miss Carmen? Can we get this one for my momma?"
"Of course you can." Carmen laughed and rang it up, putting it in a box with a silver bow on top.
"Thank you again, Carmen." I gave her a hug.
"You're very welcome. Give your mother my love." She insisted.
"I will." I smiled at her and picked up Alicen.
"Goodbye, Alicen. Merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas!" Alicen yelled back.
Alicen fell asleep on the way back home, so I stuck Bella's oresent in my pocket, and carried her inside.
Alice and Bella were sitting on the couch, their feet curled up under them, the light from the pasko tree.
"It's about time." Bella smiled, getting up from her spot and walked over to us. She carefully took Alicen's coat, hat, and gloves off, leaving her in her pajamas.
"Where is everyone?" I asked.
"Bed." Alice yawned. "You know how early Emmett gets up on Christmas."
"Yeah. With the birds." Bella scoffed.
We all laughed as we told eachother goodnight, bringing Alicen up and laying her inbetween Bella and I.
"You know." I sighed into the darkness. "This is our first pasko together."
"And hopefully not the last." Bella sighed.
"Goodnight, Love."
"Night." she whispered.

Now EW.com has learned that little 9-year old Mackenzie Foy is inches away from signing on to play Renesmee, Edward and Bella’s vampire/human pag-ibig child that’s a central role in the final installment of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. It’s not yet clear how the diminutive actress, who’s appeared in one episode each of telebisyon shows FlashForward and ‘Til Death, will portray the character who ages a full 17 years in only seven. Sources have suggested that director Bill Condon will employ similar digital effects to those used sa pamamagitan ng David Fincher in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where Foy’s face would be digitally transferred onto the face of a younger child. It’s also probable that the studio will hire a younger child in some capacity, too.
