Zack Snyder's Justice League has some of the greatest bayani in fiction teaming up to save the world and bring hope to the world. As someone who grew up too shy and awkward for friendship, I often relied on fictional bayani to raise my spirits.
While I still do and always will appreciate my fictional heroes, what truly matters in my life are my real-life heroes. I had fleeting friendships, here and there, in the past, but I didn't really have any mga kaibigan around the time I joined Fanpop.
When I first joined Fanpop, it wasn't to socialize. I was focused on making presinto and voting on clubs that involved the franchises that I was a tagahanga of. However, things changed after I had my first real friend in a long time, the Fanpop user formerly known as Harleenquinzel5 and ToriKelly5. Although she hasn't been on Fanpop in a few years, the friendship that we shared continues to leave a strong impact on my life.
It was thanks to her that I realized that friendship was something I needed and wanted. After becoming mga kaibigan with her, I became madami open and met several madami people on Fanpop. I haven't always sinabi the right words, done the right things or acted in the most mature manner. However, my Fanpop mga kaibigan have accepted me for who I am. My mga kaibigan pick me up when I'm down. I've been down a lot in kamakailan years. I've gone through stressful and worrisome situations. I've also been riddled with self-doubt.
Even though I lack confidence, I can depend on my Fanpop mga kaibigan to help me. They've helped the last few years felt madami meaningful. Making mga kaibigan has ibingiay me something to be thankful for. My mga kaibigan give me messages, they write on my poll and they give me props. pagbaba their words warm my heart. Their compassion and support helps me improve my attitude and makes my days shine brighter. Without my friends, I wouldn't be as happy. I would be shy and afraid. My mga kaibigan have helped me come out of my shell. They have ibingiay me hope that there are good people in this world who will help me and others in any way that they can.
You might think that sending a message or two isn't that big of a deal, but I certainly think it's a big deal. The messages my mga kaibigan give me have helped make several rough days easier. I get scared sa pamamagitan ng things that wouldn't normally scare most people. My mga kaibigan don't judge me or mock me. Instead, they send me sentimental messages. They give me words of encouragement.
One of the fictional characters I relate to the most is Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Obviously, I can't relate to being a purple pony. What makes me relate to Twilight is how she nakakita friendship. At first, Twilight was like me. She wasn't interested in friendship. She was focused on other things that she thought were madami important. However, she met five very special ponies, Applejack, bahaghari Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity and Pinkie Pie, who taught her about the friendship of magic. Friendship became one of the most important things in Twilight's life. She wouldn't of had the emotional strength she needed to lead a successful life without them.
Twilight Sparkle's journey is similar to my own. Despite all the stressful and hard things I've dealt with, I no longer feel as alone and sad as I used to be. My mga kaibigan are here for me. They continue giving me the emotional strength I need to be happy and continue living my life.
Thank you, my friends, for everything you've ever done for me. All of you are important to me. Never forget that you are and always will be an important part of my life. Together, we will continue sharing the magic of friendship!
