"Don't tell me you missed this one again!" Zane screamed at Anders who sat there in disappointment to the loss of another rabbit failed catch.

"Well,it's not like I have an Alpha older brother with tons of Alpha and hunting training that could help me." Anders sinabi in frustration as he lay on the ground sa pamamagitan ng the burrow.

It's been two weeks since Anders set off for his hunt for his brothers. He had found Zane but he wasn't much of help when it came to hunting. Zane could fight, but he never could hunt. He wondered if his family was even still at the place they once were. He wondered how he would ever find them again, and if he would find them alive. He shook his head in disbelief that he would even let these negative thoughts roam his mind. He quickly left those thoughts and got back to his hunting.

Anders and Zane began to walk beside each other in paghahanap of another rabbit or bigger prey. Their stomachs growled angrily at them, and trying there best to get some food. When they finally got their mind off of food. The growling didn't stop. They couldn't help but feel helpless form the lack of pagkain in their bellies.

"Dude, I'm starving." Zane said, breaking the silence sa pamamagitan ng stating the obvious.

"I never had a clue Sherlock." Anders replied sarcastically.

"Well, you think we'll find some pagkain somewhere?"

"Of course." Anders said, "Don't let negative thoughts get in your mind Zane. It'll keep you back in life."

"You sound just like mother you know that?"

"Me?" Anders chuckled, "No, not really."

"You're like someone I know that much." Zane sinabi as he smiled at Anders, "No wonder you are with Faith. I see why she can't get enough of you."

Anders blushed at Zane's comment. "You really think so?" He sinabi looking away from Zane so that he wouldn't see him blushing redder then a rose.

"Yeah, I mean she gets a real kick out of you."

"Well, she is great." Anders said. Anders paused and wondered about Faith and how she was back at the den. He kept thinking and wondering what life would be like with Faith. He imagined Faith in his yungib having hapunan with his parents. Her blushing and saying, "Anders quit it! Don't embarrass me in front of my future mother-in-law!" Anders began to smile and drool form his mouth from the thought.

"ANDERS!? You who!? ANDERS!!!" Zane yelled. "Uh...I like turtles." Anders sinabi mindlessly and looking up at the sky. Zane smacked him in the back of the head and said, "ANDERS WAKE UP!"

"Huh? Oh, right, sorry Zane." Anders sinabi as he blushed harder, "I was thinking about...something."

"Yeah, something. I'll stick with that."

"You know Zane."

"Yes? What's up?"

"I was going to ask her something."

"What was that?"

"The araw that mother and father told me about this assignment. I was going to ask Faith to marry me. We were going to have a family, me and her and a bunch of little pups running around the den. Me coming tahanan form Alpha duties and seeing her standing there and welcoming me tahanan with a nice little nuzzle, our tuta running to me and giving me a hug. I just want to have a normal life with her. Then this assignment came, and I guess my dreams got set back for a while."

"Wow dude. That's deep." Zane sinabi astonished sa pamamagitan ng Anders sweetness towards Faith, "You really pag-ibig her that much?"

"That much and more."

"Well you did kind of ask for it you know?"

"Ask for it? How?"

"You have sinabi it yourself, 'I pag-ibig to go on missions and fight,'I guess the council just thought you'd be able to."

"I guess, but did they have to do it that day?" Anders replied as he raised his voice, "I mean, is it too much to ask for a lobo to have some time with his lover?"

"Apparently so brother."

Anders sighed and said, "I hate that valley sometimes."

"So do I."

"I wish I could just...Erase all this." Anders sinabi as he looked to Zane, "Why did this have to happen? Our lives were perfectly find until the northern and southern packs came along."

"I know Anders, and I'm sorry but you know? Life goes on whether you want it to or not."

"You know?Everything went to hell once you and everyone else left!" Anders sinabi turning against his brother.

"Now wait just a damn minute!" Zane yelled, "Since when am I the bad guy?"

"You just had to leave! If you hadn't have left I'd still be eating caribou with Faith! But no! You had to go and ruin my life!"

"I had nothing to do with the northern and southern pack coming to take over the valley and you know that Anders!"

"Oh yeah and the attack just so happens to happen after the northern and southern pack have plenty of time to figure out that the toughest fighters in the western pack just deserted them selfishly!" Anders screamed, "Don't try and hide that this is your fault Zane! Sometimes I wonder if you were even worth my time."

"Well, apparently mother does cause she told you to come get me and you'll lose the valley without me!"

"I'd rather lose the valley then try to win it back with a backstabber like you sa pamamagitan ng my side!" Anders screamed.

"I can't believe I actually called you my brother!"

"SAME HERE!"

"You're just like Blaze and Ryker, nothing but a little let down."

"No wonder you left! Not even Janet loved you!" Anders screamed as Zane looked back at him, "If you don't want to help me at all then leave like you did before! I was you damn little brother! That was left with nobody but his parents to play with! You have no idea what you put me through!" Anders began to cry and lay down as he said, "I was hurt not sa pamamagitan ng the fact that you left! But I was hurt because non of you cared enough about me to tell me that you were hurt! None of you asked me for my help! None of you told me you were leaving! Am I that worthless to you!? Just a little bit of dead weight to hold on to in case you get in trouble!? None of you even told me you loved me! Do you have any idea what I must have thought you felt!? I thought my older brothers hated me! It tore me up inside!"

Anders sat there in what was now making a decent puddle of tears. "None of you...Ever...Loved me enough to do anything for me." Zane sighed and walked over to Anders and pulled his paw over to him and laid his head over Anders'. "I know Anders. I'm sorry. You're right. I was never a good brother, and I'm not going to do the expected thing and try to get out of it because a brother should never put his little brother through something like that, but I must admit. I'm proud of you." Zane sinabi with a smile.

"Proud?" Anders asked looking up to Zane as he rested on his side.

"Of course I'm proud. What brother wouldn't be proud of his little alpha? You've grown into a spitting image of what me, mother, father, Blaze,and Ryker dreamed of being. Anders, you've worn everyone's will on your shoulders."

"Will? What do you mean?"

"Ever since we left. You've taken care of mother and father, Aunt Lilly and Uncle Garth, your pag-ibig Faith,and most importantly, the whole pack. Everyone."

Anders sniffed and rubbed his eye with his paw then said, "You really think so?"

"Anders...I know so. You've become what we've always dreamed of being." Zane asked smiling. "A perfect...Little Alpha."

Anders began to cry and buried his face into Zane's fur, and soaking Zane full of tears. Zane nuzzled his brother on his head and said, "I pag-ibig you Anders."

"I pag-ibig you too...Big brother."

Zane smiled and went to sleep with Anders sa pamamagitan ng his side. "Goodnight. My buddy." He whispered before he went to sleep.

The susunod morning Anders woke up before Zane and decided that he should go find Zane some breakfast since he hasn't had a good one in a while. He began to get up, carefully moving around Zane's arms and legs so that he wouldn't wake up his brother.

"What should I get for Zane?" Anders asked himself as he started to walk away form Zane. Rabbits would be too small for a special surprise. A deer? Too hard. A bear? Too risky. What would be prefect for Zane? The tanong kept soaring through Anders' mind because he couldn't quite decide on something that would be good for an occasion and easy to hunt sa pamamagitan ng himself. "Caribou! That's perfect. He hasn't had some of that in a while I'm sure, "Anders sinabi to himself.

Anders kept getting farther and farther away from he camp where him and Zane spent the night. "Might need to turn or stop in a few minutes." Anders sinabi as he looked in front of him and was surprised sa pamamagitan ng the hundred of caribou in a large field. "Thank you god." He sinabi to himself.

Anders laid in the damo for the perfect moment, but when the caribou got close he noticed something weird about them. "Oh well, they're still caribou." He sinabi to himself. He then pounced and landed with a sharp pain in his leg. He then felt woozy. He soon fell to the ground and began falling asleep. "What..is..happening?" He whispered to himself. Before he went into a full lumber, he saw some figures that weren't mga lobo in white clothing walking towards him. He finally closed his eyes and went to sleep.
