I would be happy. A Family Vacation would be kinda anti climactic if its just them wandering around. Kinda like the great wolf games. It hat potential for a climax but at the end Claudette and Fleet tied which was dumb. I thought maybe Claudette would let Fleet win so he can make his dad happy or something like that.

I'm hoping that something unexpected (like the ghost in A&O4 protecting Daria) happens in the fifth, such as the rogues attacking Kate, Humphrey, and their pups (hopefully they're older for once) and ruining the vacation, while the five of them have to try to get back to Jasper while being tracked by the rogues. It would make for a movie about as dark as the fourth one is.

Edit: And maybe Princess could feel bad about what they're doing (probably because Runt is with them) and leave the rogues to help them get back to Jasper.

@JettAlpha While the tie was clichéd, it was meant to show Nars that not being in first place wouldn't devastate Fleet like it did to him. Plus Claudette teaching Fleet Kate's skill is what gave Kate importance in the plot despite her only appearing in the last 10 minutes and I'm a flashback.

True, and I like the idea Lilly, but I really dont see the rouges returning. They seem to try to have new characters in every film. Im hoping Humphrey's parents and his siblings are in this film. Maybe the villain could be Humphrey's alpha brother who dosen't approve of Kate or maybe wants her for his own so it leads to a Brother vs. Brother showdown.

I've seen quite a few movies with the "evil brother hates his brother, wants him dead, wants his wife" plot (mostly horror, but oh well), so I would no how that would end. Not a bad idea, but too predictable for someone like me. I think The Mummy has a twist on that plot with the mummy character and the lead female.

I'd still like to see more of the A&O2 plot, though. And if it really is about a family vacation, it could really lead up to an encounter with the rogues.

What'd be even more unexpected is if Humphrey's father was the villain or anti-villain, disapproving of Alphas marrying Omegas and trying hard throughout the film to break Kate and Humphrey apart. That would add a domestic dispute between Humphrey and Kate.

Like Shrek 2

Seeing "like Shrek 2" gets a "no" from me for that idea. I didn't really enjoy Shrek. Then again, I didn't enjoy Romeo and Juliet, but I enjoy the first A&O a lot.

i'd love to see them make it a lot more than just your everyday-normal family vacation. they can make it dark and emotional like HTTYD 2 and A&O 4, like we might have a serious death scene from one of the characters

I seriously doubt that's gonna happen, especially in a Direct-To-DVD sequel. Yes there were deaths in A&O 4 but none of the original characters were victims.

Maybe Humphrey's could think that all Alphas are evil considering every villa in the series so far have been alphas.

@wwwarea: I feel like the fourth movie had more action, despite being shorter. There's so many reasons that I want all future movies to be like the fourth one rather than 1 or 2 that I don't even feel like listing them all again, haha.

@wwearea: I said "action," as in action violence, not character movements. And I agree with Timber Humphrey. You're biased about anything that isn't anthropomorphic. Movies are made to be enjoyed, not nitpicked about what is or isn't in the movie. Who cares? That is the only reason I'm getting tired of hearing it.

That's how wolves fight in real life and the producers obviously know that make it more realistic, which is part of the reason the original A&O received negative reviews for the animation. It wasn't the animation itself but the less realistic movements of the characters (dancing, standing on hind legs, etc.).

I just realized it, but I find it a bit ironic that one of the things you like the most is the reason the first A&O has gotten worse reviews from critics than A&O2 and A&O4 have. (I don't mean that in a rude way - it's just ironic.)
