FINE!!!! Why do you think ZUKO was the most popular character?

Seriously? ZUKO?!? Ugh... I guess cause he's a bad boy. And, he's got apoy power. Personally, I don't like him. He betrayed EVERYONE, and that scar is freaking ugly.

You actually saw his past and why he was so... well, cruel. they showed his awesome journey from crazy prideful princey type to an epic hero. he's strong and loyal to his friends. he was finally able to realize that everything was falling apart, and denounced his ENTIRE nation to fix it. that took some major guts. not only that, hes pretty hot

He had lot of difficulty in his childhood, and Nawawala his mother at a very tender age. Bcos of this the fans a connection to him, and his role, he being present everywhere too.Plus he's hot,sexy and a skilled fire-bender

I didn't pay much attention to Zuko in book 1,Just saw him as a spoiled little brat, who got kicked out of his home.
But as soon as he chopped of that silly parang buriko tail, OMG, I fell in love.
There was one thing on my mind after that, HOT,HOT, HOTTY!!!

He had some of the best lines, some of the best fights, character development and character flaws that made him madami realistic and relatable than most of the other characters. Also, a lot of girls find him attractive.

He was the most popular character probably because the majority tends to favor the angsty, misunderstood and attractive bad boy. It happens in almost every ipakita that has one.. shows I'm thinking of are TVD with Damon and OUAT with Hook. Personally I couldn't stand either one of them, but I actually do like Zuko. He's not my absolute favorite, I pag-ibig Toph, Azula and Aang a whole lot more, but usually I hate characters that fall into his trope, so the fact that I like him is saying something. He actually did develop as a character and showed remorse for his actions. He fought for what he believed was right and when he realized it was wrong he struggled with that and changed his ways. All the characters in ATLA are so amazing, I can't even start..

zuko is soooooo hot, and hes strong and moody and firebending and the sad childhood makes every girl who sees him want to reach through the tv and give him a huge hug!!!

Awwh, can't you see? Although he was ugly, evil, bad, etc. in the past, now, he is very handsome, brave, cool, and everything :D

Even if zuko was bad etc.. In the end of the araw he was become hero and find his way sa pamamagitan ng himself..

He through so many hard times... N in the end of the day.. he found his life and purpose of life...

Thats not a simple thing that you all can done it.. he ipakita a struggle of life and dont give what happen...

Must be the whole bad to good thing. I honestly don't like him. So I don't know nor care. For all I know it could simply be because people think he's hot.

Because of his epic transition from good to evil - & still manages to be the beat apoy bender in world - no else one ipakita changes as much as he did - I cant beleive some people dont like him , i thought he would be a fav here in this mapait sweet ipakita ... Ang couldnt have able to stop the apoy lord & without him there wouldnt be peace in the world .... because the apoy nation would of wonted to keep fighting .

& good or evil he always made me laugh

I think the main reason people became fans of him is because of his backstory, and I think everyone can relate to him one way or another.

Of course, I think he got an increase in fans when he cut his hair and became madami of an anti-hero than a villain. For me, I sort of liked him sinse the beginning.

My reasons for liking him would also have to do with his back story. Even if some people don't like him, I think many can agree that what happened to him was horrible. He may have spoken out when he wasn't suppose to, but the punishment was extreme. After he was burned and banished, he had a strong mapait attitude mixed in with straight up denial- it was a tragic display. I could understand why he did what he did (at least for the most part). I was amazed how complex they made his character, he was a puzzle needing figured out.

I pag-ibig the steps he had to take in his life as well. From a prince loved sa pamamagitan ng his mother, to scarred and banished. From angry and tormented teenager, to trying to ilipat on and ipinapakita madami good. From betrayal and guilt, to finally figured out and fighting along side his old enemies.

What I'm not crazy about is how some people ended up taking his character and translated it to 'hot emo bad boy'. I also wasn't crazy about him in Book 3, and at times he always went into dramatic speeches about his past and while at times it was called for, there were times where I sort of found it random.

So really, I liked him sinse araw 1. Even if he was replaced sa pamamagitan ng Azula as my favorite, I still admired his character.

Because he was really the most interesting and dynamic.

because he is hot like the friggen apoy he makes. Also I, like him because he was always a good person inside. Lastly, if your puso doesn't melt when zuko smiley, you have no SOUL.(the last one was for fun.)

honeslty, most of the people, especially crazy fangirls, only pag-ibig him because he's hot. if he was still evil and never changed his hairstyle, they would say "ewww, he's so ugly and evil, i hate him"
that's why i hate that zuko is sooooooo fuckin' overrated. he didn't do ANYTHING during the show, especially in the segundo season. he's not the strongest, not the smartest, not the bravest bender at all...and yet, people pag-ibig him because he's hot. what a selfish and stupid reason

I really don't know why... I think because mostly crazed out tagahanga girls (like me) think he's hot and has nice hair and because he's so dramatic. But I seriously like Aang madami than Zuko.

BECAUSE HE IS NICE AND A STRONG apoy BANDER AND HE TEACHES THE awatara ANG AND MAYBY CAUSE HE IS A PRINCE.

Because he has one of the most outstanding character arcs of all time. His development throughout the series was such a pleasure to watch. He grew as a person and he made mistakes at the same time — he was human. He didn’t always say the right thing and a lot of the time he was trying to figure out what he wanted, but aren’t we all? We are all trying to find our way and, in the end, Zuko did. He made the right choice, after all he’s been through and everyone he’s lost.

He’s literally one of the bravest characters and people I know. Literally no physical challenge scares him (ex. Jumping airships, taking lightning bolts, etc.). But instead he struggles emotionally and mentally. Even then he never gives up and he always pushes himself. He naturally cares for the well-being of others and puts everyone before himself. He has soooo much pag-ibig to give, but he’s so afraid to because he’s either always been rejected (like with his father) or he’s Nawawala the person he trusted enough to pag-ibig (like with his mother or Lu ten). And yet he still overcomes adversary.

All he’s ever wanted is to do the right thing and to be good enough, but he never noticed he already is. Just thinking about what he’s been through and what he’s Nawawala and how he kept fighting, despite all that, makes me tear up.

Plus, he’s such an adorable grumpy dork, how can you not pag-ibig him?

Because he had the best character development, and because people like dark characters - they're cool. That's why umbreon is one of the most-loved pokemon and Hiei was voted the favourite Yu Yu Hakusho character. At least, I think he was. I'm sure I saw a pie chart somewhere... but anyway, people (or maybe this is just me, I don't know) pag-ibig it when a baddie with a tragic past ends up being a goodie. Perhaps it's because it's an optimistic symbol of the fact that people can turn their lives around, or perhaps it just makes us feel triumphant because a part of us was rooting for them all along. Plus, I imagine there are madami than a few female fans who picked him as their favourite character just because he's hot. xD
