Books to Read Tanong

Books you hate.

Have you ever read a book that you hated.

The one I read was called Sunshine, I don't remember the author. It had a good story plot, but it was so slow. It was like going through molasses. There were some parts that were good, but they were few and far between. I finished it somehow, but I wish I didn't, the ending didn't make up for the days I spent pagbaba it.
So.........

Have you ever went through something similar?
(please tell me i'm not the only one)

So far, The Hunger Games Part 3, Twilight Saga, and the last of the 1800-Missing-You series. Oh, and the last couple of Princess Diaries books were ridiculous. Also, the House of Night series sa pamamagitan ng P. C. Cast. The Pagsulat style is very... colloquial. It's almost painful. The point of literature is Nawawala with these contemporary novels, especially when they fall into the Y/A category. Finally, I cannot stand Jane Eyre. It is a man-centric novel disguised as a feminist masterpiece.

There's one book I read called "Beautiful Girl Thumb," It's sa pamamagitan ng an may-akda who came to our school to talk to us about Pagsulat novels. It sucked. Each chapter is a different story, and they don't even get finished!!! One story is about a girl whose cheating on her boyfriend who thinks it's true love, and it doesn't ipakita who she chooses. Another is about a couple who is planning a divorce, but aren't sure how to tell there kids... it's never revealed if they tell the kids or just don't divorce.
It's awful really...

I really hate Wuthering Heights, I know a lot of people pag-ibig it and consider it a great pag-ibig story but all I see is a 19th century version of a crappy soap opera.

Heathcliff and Cathy are probably two of the most vile, selfish characters in the history of the written word, they have not a single redeeming quality between them I always found it impossible to care about either of them. It's an awful book.

Clare is a plagiarist and copied and pasted parts of her tagahanga fiction into her series. Not to mention that I can’t stand her writing.

My answer is going to be really unusual...
Lord of the rings
Eragon
Famous Five
Secret Seven
The Wardrobe Chronicles
Twilight
Chronicles of Narnia

Funny how each of these was recommended to me after I told I LOVED Harry Potter and Percy Jackson, but neither lived up to my expectations. Maybe I should have read them when I was younger. I had a madami open accepting mind then. FF and SS seem so childish compared to Robin Cook, characters of LOTR and Eragon don't seem like real people but cutouts with no personalities,CS Lewis's Pagsulat style puts me to sleep and Twilight is so... sluggish. The plot proceeds at snail's pace. This holds true for Eragon, LOTR and CofN too.

My apologies if I offended anyone with my answer.

Not quite, dear. My sincere apology if I offended you. I sinabi I should have probably read it when my mind was madami accepting. You are entitled to your opinion, if you say it was an awesome book, I believe you. But it doesn't mean I have to like it. I loved House of Night, which despite being a not-so-well-written book, really captivated me. There are many over here who hate that series. That's okay with me, everyone has different tastes.

I don't remember the title, but it was awful. I like books with strong female leads, and this girl could not make a good decision to save her life or mine for that matter. I thought it would get better... but I'm sure you know how that turned out. It was just frustrating to read, yet sadly I read the whole stupid thing. I think it had a segundo part to it --yeah that's not happening

there are a few others I really hate too and didn't even finish reading, but I jus wanted to talk about the one

Germinal sa pamamagitan ng Émile Zola,
Kamienie na szaniec by Aleksander Kamiński,

puso of Darkness by Joseph Conrad,
everything sa pamamagitan ng Henryk Sienkiewicz that I had the displeasure to read.

When I choose a book myself I usually like it. If, somehow, I can't stand it, I abandon reading. These books, however, were an assigned pagbaba which forced me to read them (or attempt to do so at the very least).
