Avatar: The Last Airbender (Smoke and Shadow #3)

I got to read this one like way back in March thanks to tumblr lol. But I decided to wait until I actually got a physical copy to review it on here.

Any how 10/10 *was satisfied with the amount of Azula*
As always, I really enjoyed the comic as a whole, I really liked this story line. The whole fear based theme and the Kemurikage were wonderful. I'd really pag-ibig to know madami about those ladies.

 I pag-ibig this book cover.
I love this book cover.
Hi everyone, I had finally read Paulo Cuelho's bestselling novel, The Alchemist and here is my review on the popular novel.

The Story

While pagbaba the novel, I did not quite understand the story and it was not until the segundo half of the story that I managed to understand. It telling us to follow our dreams if a person desires for it!

The Characters

Santiago (or the Boy in this story) is a very likable character because he manage to understand what the Alchemist is telling despite being relatively young, he is my favourite character out of the novel!
The other characters like the Englishman and just to name a few are very ambiguous, if you ask me.

Is It Worth Reading?

Yes, I highly recommend this book for those who have not read it yet!

Who Am I?
By: Gabriela Acosta

Chapter 1
“How would you describe me Lilly?” I asked.
“Paula, you’re a very smart and unique person. But also mysterious. In a good way.” She replied.
“How am I mysterious? I mean, I never thought of myself that way.”
“Because you’re always so quiet around people. Not around me, of course. It’s like you shut yourself down completely, like you don’t want them to know who you are.”
“But you know I’m very shy! Besides, I’m not very good at socializing, you know? I always make myself sound like a total freak!
“Hey, you asked for my...

Author Randy Jernigan and Jackson
When I sat down to hapunan at a small Asian bistro with my old friend and writer Randy Jernigan, he quickly scanned the menu, searching for the healthiest foods. Today would not be one of his famous “cheat days” he shares on his social media pages–usually Mondays when he and best friend, Jackson Fackrell, indulge in what he terms a “free meal.” Today he opts for several veggie heavy dishes with less calories, and of course, minus the fried kanin and noodles. Later, as the waitress cleared the table, I notice that she cleared away his half eaten meal.

At the time I remembered our last...

Statement of Intent: If you read to the end, you'll notice that I do not advocate against pagbaba Twilight, just putting it into context for young readers. This was originally written for a Facebook audience of mga kaibigan until I decided to post it here as well. It was not intended to offend Twilight fans or readers, but to simply give a little perspective on why I believe Edward Cullen is a poor character to respect/admire. Should there be enough popular demand, I'm willing to write a similar artikulo about Bella Swan.

Vampires – just because some of them sparkle doesn’t mean there’re all bad.

The Classical Vampire
The first vampire to appear in fictional literature was created sa pamamagitan ng the British may-akda John William Polidori in his book ‘The Vampyre’. After this came the rather long short story ‘Carmilla’ sa pamamagitan ng Sheridan Le Fanu. But it was a work inspired sa pamamagitan ng these two stories that remains the greatest vampire story to this araw – Bram Stoker’s ’Dracula’. ’Dracula’, which was published in 1897, started a Vampire craze the hasn’t ceased yet. It is in this novel that we find the original,...

There are so many great books published every month, some titles worth pagbaba may get Nawawala in the shuffle. So when I heard that my Pagsulat coach and mentor of ten years was finally releasing a book about successful freelance writing, I got excited!

So I looked up the number of a popular Pagsulat group in my tahanan town, got registered and took a class. I had heard of the instructor before, even read a couple of his books and magazine articles, so I was thrilled at the...

The Vampire Game; Discovery
As promised last year, may-akda Les Bailey has released his initial literary offing, The Vampire Game: Discovery, in paperback.

First published solely through Kindle Books, the story hit the ground running, causing quite the stir in literary and social media circles. Fanpop.com contributor, known only as Fanmaven2015, (our boss!) had this to say about Bailey's story:

“This debut novel is not only one of the finest tales of the undead in my kamakailan memory, it has brought me back to the vampire genre which was growing stale for me, sadly. Thank you, Mr. Bailey.”

30 years after Marie Osmond married, then divorced Stephen Craig, she married him again. Some might say the woman is a glutton for punishment or she never got over the man she truly loved.

Today, Osmond says she’s happier the segundo time around, and is grateful for the way her husband treats her.

According to press reports, Osmond’s segundo marriage to music producer Brian Blosil wasn’t blissful sa pamamagitan ng any means.

(original title: Essere Gentile)
by Piero Ferrucci, 2008, 306 pages
and Vivien Reid Ferrucci (Translator)

A book to read as a soul provider – if you are in a state of confusion, conflict, in quest of wisdom or in reach for soul comfort – or all…

A leading transpersonal psychologist reveals the unexpected secret to a happy life: behaving with kindness.

Piero Ferrucci calls it "global cooling," a phenomenon of chilly human relations. Communications are hurried and impersonal. The drive for profit and wealth has become a cherished value. And warmth and genuine presence have all but dissolved...

I know not everyone celebrates Christmas, but in many countries, there is a big break coming up, and I thought I would share some good vacation-type reads. So put these on hold at the aklatan now to prepare for a long period of time for relaxation and good reading.

1. His Dark Materials sa pamamagitan ng Philip Pullman
(The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass)-I read this series once over a break and it is fantastic. Deep and meaningful while still a quick read. The 2nd one is my favorite.

2. Anna Karenina sa pamamagitan ng Leo Tolstoy
This is probably a challenge for a lot of people, but it's one of the most...

I have just read the first book on the Guild Hunter series sa pamamagitan ng Nalini Singh – Angel’s Blood (Guild Hunter, Book 1). This book is a good debut to this series and I found it very different from Ms. Singh’s Psy-Changeling series.
A quick synopsis, Elena Deveraux, she’s a born vampire hunter; her best friend is Sara and she has a few childhood issues. She is a no nonsense type, feminine but tough as nails. She’s summoned sa pamamagitan ng the archangel Raphael, he’s a high and mighty angel and ruler, he’s...

My fellow writer and Blujesto Press may-akda Lucretia Mars discusses her new Kindle book series, GASPERS, starting off with a trilogy that is, in may ways, too hot to publish. She and Blujesto are presenting new and innovative ways of getting his controversial work to the public.

A: GASPERS is a kinky, erotic novel series with a crime story subplot. Or else it’s a crime series with a kinky, erotic subplot. They’re pretty well balanced.
