Never did care much for poetry.

I like poetry a lot, but its demanding to read, so there are long periods when I don't feel up to it. My favorite kinds of poems are haiku and sufi -- especially Hafiz.

I like poetry thou I don't read it much.

I read a lot of books with short stories in them, i dont know where they fit in but I think they are anthologies, I dont like poetry though

I used to love poetry, but after being forced to regurgitate stale answers for exams I have come to loathe it.

poetry confuses me.. I think it's cool and all but I don't like the figure it out on your own part of poetry.. I like non-fiction.

I have a hard time with poetry...so far I've only liked a few classics like Shakespeare and Byron.

I like some poetry, like I love the poem Fire and Ice but I dont love to sit and read it.

I like poetry as long as it not horribly long. I like Robert Frost and Emily Dickenson, Shel Silverson and childrens rhymes and I love those books of "Collected Poets" which you'll sometimes find at garage sales, the ones that often come from poetry contests and that contain beautiful prose from people you will probably never hear of again. I don't know I love books, but poetry just gets into peoples thoughts/feelings more than novels do like Acapella songs where the words, themselves, make the rhythm of the music.

I don't read much of it, but I do like a lot of Plath.

I like poetry ... mainly Shakespeare's sonets!

I've read a couple of poetry books and a lot of poems (not entire books) for scholl and I LIKE them but I still prefer Novels and Non-Fiction (I LOVE them)

Walt Whitman and Shakespeare are the only poetry I've ever read in english, all the others were Latin American, like Pablo Neruda, Alfonsina Storni, Federico García Lorca, Antonio Machado, Jorge Luis Borges, etc.

and I honestly liked the english ones better!

i love poetry. something insdie me seems to soar when i read it. my favourite poem is called "Sea Fever", by John Masefield. i love it, not because it is a particularly good poem, just because i find it so easy to relate to, since i live by the sea. it has sentimental value too; it was my great-grandfather's favourite poem, and a quote from it is inscribed along the bottom of his gravestone.

Last week, I got the whole collection of Edgar Allan Poe's works ON SALE.

And then, there were all these classics, and they were get 2 get the third free.... so I got The Iliad and the Odyssey, and Jane Austen's Seven Novels...
