Anyone who tells you that your beliefs are foolish either doesn't respect your beliefs or doesn't understand your beliefs.
Considering the utter lack of any empirical evidence one way or the other, someone who is as devout in their non-belief of Christ as you are in your faith in Christ is being a hypocrite. But that's just my opinion.
If you believe in God and Christ, then odds are you have good reasons to do so. I don't think you need anyone here to tell you what to believe or why. Be firm in your faith. Just because someone tanong your beliefs doesn't mean you should stop believing.
If these are mga kaibigan telling you that "god is a joke," then the susunod time they scoff at your faith, ask them why they think that. They might give you a reason; they might be surprised that you asked. But listen to their response, and then explain to them that it bothers you when they are so flippant about your beliefs. Ask them how they'd feel if you sinabi something like "Atheists are going to Hell." In other words, have a conversation with them about your faith, explain why you believe, and ask them to respect that. If they can't accept that, then at least ask them to stop trashing your faith to your face. If they're your friends, they'll
at least respect your wishes, even if they can't respect your faith.
If the people saying these things about God are
not your friends, then ignore them. Or, try and make mga kaibigan with them and have a conversation with
them about it.
The madami you talk about your beliefs with others, the madami they will share with you. Odds are, you will inform others about your religion and, in turn, be madami informed yourself about the thoughts and opinions of others. It's a win-win situation.
I recognize that I haven't directly answered your question. I apologize. But if you're truly curious about my beliefs, I went through them
link. They may surprise you.
