I dislike the books, but after seeing image after image labeled "Twilight sucks", as well as comment after comment with the words, I'm beginning to see why we can be accused of being "haters."

"Sucks" is not a swear word. To say something sucks is not going to send you to hell. But it is derogatory, and immature, and does not lead to any real discussion. Well, unless some mature Twilighter comes along and say, "I see that you think Twlight sucks. Why?" That might spark discussion. Okay, the Momcat has FINALLY gotten off her fat, lazy butt and done some much-needed work on some of the rules for our spot. When the spot first got started, it was fairly small and having wiggle-room wasn't such a problem; so my first batch of rules weren't all that specific. But our CAT has had many, many new mga kuting since then, and consequently, things have gotten crazier and messier. A lot of people have gotten confused about what this place is for, and what we're about. The CAT isn't what it used to be.

As a tagahanga of Twilight, I am part of a lot of related spots and discussions. However, as a Jacob & Bella fan, I often find myself disagreeing with most of the opinions of Twilight fans. In this artikulo I'll go through some comments I've read (slightly altered - don't want anyone out to get me!) and why I disagree with them. It's really just an informal rant. :P

As someone who liked Bampira before the fad started I'm one of the many people who dislikes the Twilight vampires. And thinks they should be reclassified as pixies. Or that at least Zombie Bram Stoker should go have a serious talk with Stephenie Meyer about vampires... What do you mean Bram Stoker hasn't risen as a zombie in protest to the Twilight vampires? Why don't you go prove it? I'll wait...

Reasons i think Jacob is better for Bella than Edward is:
1. Edward/Bellas relationship is based on appearance. She is constantly talking about how good he looks, how velvety his voice is, how graceful he is, etc. She sinabi Jacob was beautiful once or twice and called his new muscles impressive once or that she is jealous of his tan skin. Okay, i decided to write a critical analysis of a character from the twilight series. My first choice would have been to do one on Bella Swan, but there is already a whole spot dedicated to that, so i decided on my segundo choice: Edward Cullen. So I hauled out all my Twilight books and combed through them, analyzing and taking notes. Okay, number one...one of the reasons Twilight is so dramatic and sometimes just plain depressing is because...

when i first read twilight, i loved it. i loved all of the books. the first mocie was good but i dont like the others at all (this is my opinion, sorry if you dont agree). i even wished people were madami like the characters in the books.

the important thing to remember is that these books are meant for entertainment. do not take ideas or payo from this book. you dont realize it, but at least 2 types of abuse happen in this book. edward is considered controlling and a stalker. jake is considered a sexual abuser and a petaphile. bella is considered a klutz, idiot, and a needy person. these books...
