In The Descent when Elena was taking care of Rose in Damon's bedroom, I had to laugh when we find out that Damon was pagbaba Gone with the Wind. Why would he read that? Yes, the writers are using that as foreshadowing, but it makes one wonder why he would.

You know... I'm actually glad that Damon didn't apologize to Elijah. The whole point of him doing what he did to Elijah was to keep Elena safe. To protect her.
