A couple of weeks ago, I saw Dave Foley performing live in the Rochester area with my family. We got a chance to talk to him after the show, and while in the process of signing my brother's copy of the Dan Vs DVD, he mentioned off-hand that they've stopped recording episodes. Surprised, I asked him if he meant just for now, or permanently. He re-affirmed that he meant yes, permanently.
Since new episodes are still being released, I'm afraid that this means that just as soon as they run out of the episodes they've already done, they'll either take the ipakita off altogether, or just go to re-runs. Hopefully the latter, but even madami preferably, I don't want them to kanselahin it!
I'm pretty sure I can take the word of a man who's on the ipakita himself, though, so I fear that the ipakita is over. I mean he even mentioned Paget moving on to another project. It doesn't look good.
