My Stepmother wants me dead, and I’m afraid.
I’m lucky, because I was able to get away.
I didn’t know what was to become of me, but I knew I’d be okay.
I had just met my one true love, and we shared one song.
I know it’s with him that I belong.
I don’t know if I’ll ever see him again,
But as for now I am living with seven little men.
They gave me a tahanan when I had no where else to go.
My feelings for them are starting to grow.
They want to keep me ligtas from the evil Queen.
All they ask in return is that I cook for them and clean.
I’ve never had anybody pag-ibig me so much.
There’s only one that gets tumawid sa pamamagitan ng my touch.
Eventually I will win his grumpy little heart,
And he’ll never want me to depart.
I think I will bake his paborito pie.
Maybe then he will become my ally.
I think of my handsome Prince all the time.
Being with him again would be sublime.
Maybe when Spring is here,
He will find me, and I’ll be full of cheer!
Until then I will feel a little glum,
But I know in my puso that someday my Prince will come.

five cursed friend
four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree
I can't express enough how much I agonized over this one. The one thing I knew from the get go was that I wanted to use this picture and none other for the calendar. It was the one which inspired me to paghahanap for murals and use them as motive.
But the holiday was the thing which really threw me into a loop, mostly because...

I guess something pretty much everyone agreed on when I asked how to sort the 12 princesses on the months was, that Moana belongs into the summer. And that is exactly where I placed her.
Since Moana is such a new princess I had to get creative. With the others, I mostly looked for murals I could use (and there were some really beautiful ones), but with Moana, the selection is still very limited. Especially...
