So I decided to rant about Snow White next.

Snow White was the very first animated female to make it to the big screen. If any of the princesses were to be called legendary, Snow White would be the one. She paved the way for every Disney Herione, princess or not. Pick any other female character from Disney and I guarantee you she'll have something in common with Snow White. Cinderella, Aurora, Pocahontas, Belle and even hasmin would probably be completely different characters had it not been for Snow.

Let's talk about the dwarfs for a second, like the mga engkanto from Sleeping Beauty, these guys pretty much carry the movie. All of them pretty much have the same relationship with Snow White, but Grumpy, he's special. He's the only person in the entire movie who experiences something resembling development. Changing from a mean old grump to a kindhearted gentleman who cares deeply about the princess. Needless to say, the most popular dwarf is Dopey, the goofiest and funniest mute ever. The rest of them are somewhat bland. Personally my favorites are Sleepy and Happy, I enjoy their presence. Doc earns a few points, Bashful and Sneezy, not so much.

The most negative thing I can say about Snow White is that she's a very one track character. sa pamamagitan ng that I mean she's not very complex. She's literally always happy 100% of the time. I was hoping she would ipakita some emotion or at least experience some amount of growth but sadly no. Similar to Jasmine's sass, Snow White's constantly upbeat attitude can get grating abit. Even Aurora has a madami diverse personality. There is one little moment where she cries but she immediately bounces back. While her optimism is her best quality it's also her downfall. I would have been nice to see Snow White get angry or break down but then she'd be a realistic character.

Now Snow White's voice, she's been criticized for this so often to the point where she's been excluded from MAJOR princess merchandise. In the video for If You Can Dream, Snow White only gets one scene and she doesn't even get to sing. Surely back in 1937, a voice like that would have been considered attractive, with similar voices like Betty Boop, who's an icon. Today people just find it irritating and it's probably why she's not very popular. But uy it's her trademark voice, it's what she's known for and it's what makes her unique. Disney could have easily ibingiay her different voice but they chose not to, because it's one of the many things that make her special.

I will be the first to agree that Snow White is physically the weakest princess but emotionally she is very strong. Similar to Cinderella, she overcomes what is most likely to be years of child abuse and manages to keep smile on her face and her head held high. After having several vicious attempts on her life, Snow is rewarded for her optimism and strength with a prince and her own happy ending. While I do agree she is a damsel in distress, personality wise, she's a great role model. Not to say that young girls should be happy 24/7 but that they should try to look on the bright side and not let bullies put them down.

I don't mean to offend anyone but in my opinion Snow White is the dumbest princess. Don't get me wrong, I don't think she or any of the other princesses are dumb but any of them should be labelled the "stupid one" it would be Snow. Though, I must go easy on her because she is the youngest princess. Biting the apple, breaking into the dwarfs' home, not being able to recognize clear threats. Snow White is clearly lacking in the intelligence area and that's easily her biggest flaw. Not to mention, she's gullible.

Despite the fact she's the very first Disney Herione, Snow White is probably the least poular princess on a global scale. Due to her appearance and of course, her voice as well the overwhelmingly popularity of CInderella, who's always mistaken for the first princess. No one seems to like Snow White, at all.

To me Snow White represents happiness (or optimism). No matter what life throws at her, she faces it with a cheerful attitude and joy in her heart. Even in the gloomiest of situations, she finds the will power to sing and smile through it all.
