I'm so excited to finally get to write this article! I thought this was an incredibly interesting countdown, and I want to give a huge "Thank you!" to everyone who participated. This was my first countdown and it was so much fun! I have a bunch of ideas for other ones I can conduct in the future. So anyway, I'm gonna stop blabbing now and get to what you're all actually here for: the results! Enjoy...

10. The Princess and the Frog

It was no surprise that this movie came in dead last. It was practically a unanimous vote! Every single person who nagkomento voted that this should be the first to leave. Not only did Disney twist the fairytale beyond recognition, but the only thing they had in common was a prince getting turned into a frog. For reference, you can find a summary of the original tale here: link

"No doubt about it. The main characters are a different race, with a different setting, time period, motives, plot, etc. The listahan would be way too long to write. The only thing that is similar in both is that the girl kisses a frog, and that the frog is a prince." ~Jayden-G
"That's what bothers me this most about this (and the way Disney fairy tale pelikula are heading...). they even got the pamagat wrong. it should be the Frog Prince, since Tiana is not a princess and she kissed a frog prince." ~AudreyFreak

9. Pocahontas

This was another unsurprising elimination. Nearly everyone who nagkomento agreed that it should be the susunod to leave. They changed ages, names, motives, and dropped an entire romance in where there wasn't one. Disney seriously needs to take a few history lessons! For reference, you can read a summary of the historical account here: link

"John Smith was older. Moreover, 'Pocahontas' was just her nickname, not her real name." ~BraBrief
"John was like 35? and Pocahontas was like 12...goodbye" ~princecatcher93

8. Tangled

Though I personally disagreed that this should be the susunod to get eliminated, the majority of the commenters argued that there were very few similarities between Gusot and its pinagmulan material. The whole "wanting to see the lanterns" dream was an entirely new concept, and instead of a prince, Rapunzel got a thief. For reference, you can find a summary of the original tale here: link

"seriously, this hasn't left yet? they kept the 1) hair 2) a plant 3) being locked in a tower 4) Gothel hurting Flynn. other than that..." ~AudreyFreak
"The fairytale and the movie are just completely different with the exception of a few key elements." ~BelleAnastasia

7. The Little Mermaid

This was yet another nearly unanimous vote. The first half of the tale has several similarities (desire to be human, falling in pag-ibig with a prince, trading her voice for legs), but the segundo half bears hardly any resemblance. She feels like she's walking on glass, her prince really does fall in pag-ibig with someone else, and she dies in the end because she can't bring herself to kill the man she loves. For reference, you can find a summary of the original tale here: link

"Very different, to say the least" ~rhythmicmagic
"Very different ending, and transformation into human." ~Popcornfan

6. Aladdin

And again we have another nearly unanimous vote. Disney took out one of the genies and most of the rest of the story and replaced it with a bunch of pop culture references. Though you can see the parallels between the two stories, really the only things left are Aladdin, his lamp, one of the genies, and a princess (though her name isn't Jasmine). For reference, you can find a summary of the original tale here: link

"Aladdin...that's a totally different story. Which is a good thing. But the movie omits the mother, the ghost of the ring, the palace which is built for Aladdin, just to mention a few thing. Honestly, the only thing left is Aladdin and the lamp." ~Swanpride
"The man in Aladdin claims to be his uncle, but i think it´s a lie to get Aladdin and his mother to trust him, nothing more. I can´t remember Badroulbadour to be spoiled. Of course her character is flat, she isn´t the main character of the story that´s pretty normal." ~Safira-09

5. Mulan

When I began this countdown I was positive Mulan would be one of the last pelikula to leave. I guess others didn't agree. Sleeping Beauty actually had the most mga boto at 46%, but Mulan had madami comments, and since I was basing this poll off of the comments Mulan was the one to go. For reference, you can find a summary of the original legend here: link

"The original tale of Mulan is madami a framework of a story than a story itself, but many things are different- Mulan has siblings (including a brother not old enough to take his father's place,) her parents seem to be in on the act, she is gone twelve years, and Mulan is never discovered but reveals herself after coming tahanan from the army to all her fellow soldiers. The only thing that really remains that same is Mulan matures and goes through a period of great maturity (also the symbolism of twelve years) and that the Emperor offers her a position but she returns tahanan instead." ~rythmicmagic
"Yeah. I think she was older in the poem, was not caught until after she served her many years, did not have feelings for her general. There really is not much of a story to the original poem. Oh, there is no dragon, and did not leave for dishonour." ~Jayden-G

4. Beauty and the Beast

I had to make a tiebreaker round for this one. Based on the poll Beauty and the Beast just barely beat Sleeping Beauty, but the comments were tied, so I decided to be doubly sure and make a tiebreaker poll. The poll was very close again, but the comments clearly favored Beauty and the Beast. After all, they left a lot of stuff out (siblings and etc.) and put a lot of new stuff in (talking objects and etc.). For reference, you can find a summary of the original tale here: link

"Well this one is different from the original in a lot of ways. One is that they had no talking objects, no Gaston, and no angry Beast. He was extremely kind to her. Maurice got captured because Belle asked him for a rose, he was rich, had sisters, and had little to no plot." ~Jayden-G
"This is hard. Both have similarities and differences from the original tales. I'm choosing BATB, because it just seems to have madami differences than Sleeping Beauty." ~BelleAnastasia

3. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Once again Sleeping Beauty actually won the poll portion of this, but the comments favored Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It's easy to see why it was the susunod to leave - in the original Snow White was younger, the Wicked reyna tried to kill her three times, and there was no magical kiss. For reference, you can find a summary of the original tale here: link

"In the original, the reyna tricked her three times and the prince didn't halik her, he just thought that she was pretty and so he had her taken to his palace in a glass case and on the way she was dropped and the mansanas came loose." ~rythmicmagic
"What bothers me about the changes the most is the kiss...totally screwed up the perception of the tale." ~Swanpride

2. Sleeping Beauty

Anyone who faithfully voted in this countdown will know that I was pushing for Sleeping Beauty to go from fairly early on. I guess very few people agreed with me because it ended up in segundo place! The majority of the original elements are still there, and when compare to Perrault's version, which it is directly based off of, it is nearly exact. For reference, you can find a summary of the original tale here: link

"Hm, in the original fairy tales, there is no dragon and there are seven mga engkanto not three fairies. Besides, the princess sleeps for 100 years." ~LightningRed
"Sleeping Beauty is missing big plot elements that were in the fable; an the backgrounds and situations of some characters are completely different." ~Jayden-G

1. Cinderella

It's not difficult to see why Sinderella won this countdown. All of the main plot elements are still present in the movie, and the only real addition was the talking animals. Disney left out a couple of the madami gory parts, but for the most part everything else is there. For reference, you can find a summary of the original tale here: link

"Making the stepsisters physically ugly is a pretty big change, one which totally screwed up the perception of the fairy tale." ~Swanpride
"There is little to no difference in Cinderella." ~Jayden-G

And so this concludes my first countdown! Hugs to everyone who participated. <3 Comment your thoughts, and I'll start another countdown soon. :)

A great appreciation for all people in this spot who participated in my poll. Using the link (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) assessment, I attempted to classify Belle in one of sixteen different personality types.

BELLE IS...

1. Introverted link

Introverts often:
- Have quiet energy
- Listen madami than talk
- Think quietly inside their heads
- Think, then act
- Feel comfortable being alone
- Prefer to work "behind-the-scenes"
- Have good powers of concentration
- Prefer to focus on one thing at a time
- Are self-contained and reserved

In the song "Belle," she preferred pagbaba alone to mingling with...

10.Beast gives Belle the aklatan

This aklatan is KICK ASS. Seriously, when I was a kid I wanted to run through it and open every book, climb all the ladders. It's like Chuck E. Cheese for nerds. The majesty and enormity of the room astounded me, but the fact the Beast can't read makes me think this room is just a big slap in the face :D Anyway, the scene is wonderful, but not as important as others.

"...this scene is cute, but to me it is not as significant." (ppgbelle4)

"To compare this scene with others, it's less important. Sure, it's sweet, but... Oh... It's impossible to pick one....

Disney has enchanted us for decades with its beautiful, pag-awit heroines.
Disney has enchanted us for decades with its beautiful, singing heroines.
As many of us know, Disney Princesses are not always viewed in a positive light. Some people believe them to be passive, codependent damsels in distress. But is this really true? Or does each Princess offer a kind of strength in her own way? Here, I have carefully ranked the princesses in terms of being good role mga model for young girls. We'll start at the bottom of the listahan so we can work our way towards, in my opinion, Disney Princess' best role model. I have spoken to plenty of parents to make sure that I have diverse research and opinions.

9. Aurora

The listahan of hottest disney princes is finally here! As we know, disney guys are mostly hotter than guys in real life, and I admittedly have a crush on madami than one of them. But let's see as a whole, who the fanpop community is crushing on.
I only have a little to write about each of the guys, because...come on. You all know as much as I do.

 The girly guy

9.The Prince
This nameless fellow was out pretty quickly in the first round. Dark brown hair, brown eyes, and of average height, this guy really is nothing special. A major turn off for most of the people who voted was his girly appearance,...

Snow White ___________________________

In the beginning of the Grimm's Tale Schneewittchen, Snow White's mother pricks her finger with a sewing needle and three drops of her blood fall onto the snow which lay on the ebony windowsill. Oddly enough, this made her long for a daughter of a similar color scheme. While this reflects the arc of the story: (white)innocence, (red)maturity & love, and (black)death, her name particularly represents a season when the world metaphorically sleeps only to be inevitably awakened with the coming of spring.

Hi everyone, I just watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera just now. While watching, I noticed some similarities with Beauty and the Beast! Here are my observations.

The Story-line

As you may know, both stories are set in France, it also has a sad theme in it as it deals with a deformed person name Erik who wishes to be love. Ironically, the may-akda of The Phantom of the Opera is sa pamamagitan ng Gaston Leroux, who happens to be the namesake villain of Disney's retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The rose also plays a symbolic role in both stories.
Secondly, the Stranger Than You Dream It scene...

Well,it's been a while since a wrote an article,huh?
It's not entirely my fault,it's just I that my life has its ups and downs and I had to deal with both of them in the past days.Plus, considering how long my nakaraan artikulo was that I had to split it into two parts,I needed some break from that.
But enough talk, let's get into the artikulo itself.
You may not have known this, but I'm also a big Steven Universe fan. Most of that has to do with the fact of,you guessed it,how much it resembles Frozen.
Now technically,Steven Universe aired about one week before nagyelo came out,but the similarities...

I haven't done a ranking in a while, so here ya go. This artikulo is dedicated to the amazing animators of Disney who gave us wonderful character designs and, sadly, unrealistic hair expectations! (*cries because my hair will never be as cool as DP hair*)

That being said, although every princess has beautiful hair, some manes are better than others. This is my opinion of their hairstyles, ranked worst to best.

12. Tiana

I find Tiana's hairstyles quite disappointing. As the first black princess, and being absolutely gorgeous at that, the animators could have done lots of cool things with letting...

 Type Two, "The Helper"
Type Two, "The Helper"
Hello, everyone! This is the first installment of my new series analyzing the DPs' personalities according to the Enneagram system.

Introduction: Understanding the Enneagram

So, the Enneagram is a pretty complicated system of classifying personalities. Basically, everyone has a core type, expressed as a number of One through Nine. This is the most straightforward paglalarawan of someone’s personality.

Here’s a basic rundown of each type:
1: perfectionistic, rational, idealistic
2: generous, warm-hearted, nurturing
3: ambitious, image-conscious, charming
4: sensitive, dreamy, moody
5: cerebral,...

I know she's always typed as an Intuitive, especially an ENFP, and it's understandable why; I had once typed her as an ENFJ myself. She does, after all, just "know" the lights are "meant for me!" But is that really indicative of someone with strong intuitive preference? I think it's because this tendency for people to type nerdy/quirky/silly ESFJs as ENFPs, not only Rapunzel but characters like Steven Universe. It gets frustrating because that just implies only intuitives are inherently imaginative.

Anyway, to the typing:

Extroverted Feeling (Fe): Rapunzel is very warm to everyone she meets....
