Hi all! Just so you know, I've catered this artikulo to 2013 - er, 2014 - in America, where I happen to live. So here it goes! (And when I say 'survival' I don't mean of the morbid sort, I mean it as their general well being and success in the world)

Snow White: With her kindness, I'm willing to bet that Snow could make it up to about high school, but after that, her naievity (sp?) and trusting nature could betray her in finding both romantic and business relationships that will help her. While she's good at making friends, it's a guarantee that not everyone would be as accepting as the dwarves.

Cinderella:Cinderella would most definitely be a strong contender for living a great modern life. At the beginning of her tale, it's shown that she can work hard and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty, but she's also not afraid to be pampered, so she'd be happy (and if not happy, able to manage) both sides of the spectrum of success.

Aurora: (note: I haven't seen this movie in forever, and it's never been my favorite, so madala with me) Never trust anyone that could put you into eternal sleep. Aurora didn't know that the witch would hurt her, but like Snow White, this sleeping beauty is just too trusting.

Ariel: I'd have to toss a coin for this one - Ariel is clever and spunky, but she also inhabits the biggest downfall - the 'Oh, look, shiny!'. While she's not necessarily naive, Ariel is too curious for her own good. I'd give her the benefit of the doubt though - she's proven an ability to remove herself from sticky situations.

Belle: Belle is book smart. kalye smart? Not so much. But she's proven that cleverness and intelligence can go very far in any time period. Her smarts will carry her successfully into adulthood and farther.

Jasmine: Jasmine's smart, a bit silly (only because I don't want naive to be my buzzword) but her pangkalahatang attitude will help her be successful.

Pocahontas: Smart. Strong. pangkalahatang bada**. Enough said.

Mulan: See above. Add adorably clumsy (at the beginning mostly.) Again, enough said.

Tiana: Tiana's smart and hardworking and she can juggle anything like nobody's business. She could totally rock anything anyone throws at her. A+.

Rapunzel: Buzz goes the buzzword. Even though Rapunzel can hold her own, her sheer lack of knowledge of the outside world would be her downfall in the modern times.

Merida: She's tough and spunky in addition to smart. The only bump in the road I can imagine her hitting is something to do with her hotheadedness, but she'll make it far regardless of temper.

Anna: Anna is my paborito princess, so I regret to write this - Anna would not be terribly well in the modern times. She's clever and brave, sure, but she's a bit awkward and sheltered, especially after living her whole life beyond closed doors. She'd need a better grasp of how to deal with loneliness before she could go anywhere, and while complete selflessness is great in fairytales, she can't continuously risk it all for others in real life.

So, what I've learned from this is that I'm a pessimist and that Disney is slowly but surely creating madami strong female characters, with less of 'le buzzword' in their lives.

What are your opinions on the matter? Anything you disagree with?

So Rapunzel had a great beginning. "A single drop of sunlight" fell to the ground and created a bulaklak (?) that "had the ability to heal the sick and injured." Then because the reyna was dying, the bulaklak was mashed up and ibingiay as sopas to the reyna who got well again. And the magic affected her baby. The magic golden bulaklak caused the newborn to be born with a head full of hair, and already extremely active.

Wait, what?

Did Gothel take her right after she was born? Isn't that dangerous? Shouldn't Rapunzel be with her mother, be nurtured sa pamamagitan ng her and everything. Like, come on, at least wait until...

Finally! My Japanese Princess Appearance make it to the front page, I strongly recommend you guys to check it out. So, now is a Korean princess's turn to see on how she will look like. Ironically, I also did a poll on this too!

1. Ha Nui Lee (3rd Runner-Up, Miss Universe 2007)

She was the 3rd runner up in Miss Universe 2007 to her Japanese counterpart, Riyo Mori. She is my first choice for a Korean Princess, as she plays a Korean instrument called the Gayageum. So, she could also provide the movie some help!

2. Sa Rang Kim (Miss Universe 2001 contestant)

This contestant won the best National...

Greetings! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, here with an evaluation of the theatrical posters for the 11 Disney Princess films. To determine which posters are the greatest, I've considered three factors:

1) The disensyo (including layout and color scheme)
2) Intrigue (the strategy involved in "selling" the film, or influencing moviegoers to see it; includes the design, tagline, and impression)
3) Reflection of the film (how accurate of a representation the poster is of the movie it's advertising)

I'm attempting to look at each category objectively, but that may be difficult for the third one. My perception of...

Since nobody had done this, I thought that I could write this artikulo since I pag-ibig Enya's songs!

1) Fairytale

The 3 classic princesses will definitely pag-ibig this song, as the pamagat says it all. The music is very soothing and yet at the same time mesmerizing!

2) Wild Child

Ariel and hasmin are considered fiercely independent, so this song bumagay their spunky background!

3) Anywhere Is

Belle wants adventure, so this energetic song bumagay her. Especially during the 'Belle Reprise' scene!

4) Memory of Trees

Since Pocahontas is an environmentalist, this sad song will be good and I would imagine her...

This is my updated princess tagahanga list. The biggest change is a swap-out/trade-placements of two princesses. These are my opinions. I will explain as I go.

1. Mulan
I’ll probably be a tagahanga of her my whole life. She’s the most sacrificial character in the whole Disney Princess lineup, and I can’t help admiring her for overcoming her numerous flaws. Mulan is a convincing heroine, and her humaneness is something that I find missing in some of the Revival Era girls.

2. Ariel
She was my childhood favorite, but she doesn’t seem to diminish in my...

PART 2

Hello and welcome to part one of my COUNTDOWN FOR paborito COUPLE BESIDES PRINCESS/PRINCE! Part one includes the couples that I think are just hated sa pamamagitan ng most as some of them break up a lovely couple. The couples in this part don't have a lot of redeeming qualities to them. Take a look. Read and comment. Also, I thought it would be fun to make little "reaction photos" to go along with the litrato of the couple.

THE LAST PLACE COUPLE IS. . .

JASMINE AND JAFAR
Jafar wanted power sa pamamagitan ng any means. When his options were running out, he tried to get power another way. sa pamamagitan ng marrying Jasmine. Not much...

So, with this topic on whether or not Elsa should be gay has been very popular over the internet, I felt it was time to tell you my opinion on this topic.

Before you get disgusted with me or anything, I have no problem with the LGBT community. In fact, my best friend is gay, and we often talk about boys and "ship" each other.

Now, there are a lot of reasons I think Disney should wait and make an original gay princess instead of making Elsa gay, I mean the main reason is I see Elsa as having no interest in romance- whether it's a male or female. I would much rather have a sequel centering around...

So, I have been hearing from many people over their disagreements about Emma Watson's casting as Belle. So, I thought that I would write this artikulo about it if she wasn't cast at all, first no hard feelings to any Emma Watson fans out there (including myself) or to the actress herself. So here are my listahan of actresses.

1. Anne Hathaway

I first heard her sing in Les Miserables, she blew everybody away with her rendition of 'I Dreamed a Dream', she's a marvelous singer in her own rights and I'm glad she's a talented actress!

2. Keira Knightley

I remember doing a poll regarding this 6 years ago...

Since it isn't so much left until pasko I decided to write a few artikulo here on that theme, not sure how many I'll do, but here's the first one. You may not remember this song, but link in case you haven't heard the song. Anyway originally the song had the 6 first Disney Princesses pag-awit the song, but I decided to redo the song a bit sa pamamagitan ng adding 6 new princesses and their parts has new lyrics. I decided to exclude Merida, so the new parts will be dedicated to Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa. I'll write on each part which princess that has that part, anyway hope you'll...

What I will write will be similar to what I wrote on the last article. Most of my opinions are the same except for Aladdin. I wanted to write an updated artikulo because I finally rewatched Aladdin. Please no rude comments. Enjoy!

12. Brave- I despise this movie I really don't like Merida. While she may be a strong I think she is just rude and annoying. The film is so forgettable. I haven't seen the film in about 4 years and I don't plan on seeing it again.

12. Frozen- As many of you know, like bravo I detest this movie. The characters are very irritating & the movie was trying way too hard...

Charm-the Real Feminine Mystique:
"A girl need not have perfect features nor an outstanding figure to be popular. But she should have charm. As Sir James Barrie had Maggie say in his play, What Every Woman Knows, 'If you have it, you don't need to have anything else; and if you don't have it, it doesn't much matter what else you have.'

Once you have acquired charm, you'll probably never lose it. Especially after you have discovered how much happier your life is because you are considered to be that charming girl down the street.

To be charming you need not to be any particular age, weight or height...

Inspired sa pamamagitan ng link, who did an amazing job(! <3), I really wanted to do my own version with paborito Openings. I actually really pag-ibig the original fairy tale concept of the Disney Princesses and I pag-ibig the openings that give a madami magical and fairy tale kind of feel. (By the way, I am primarily trying to stick to the first 2-4 minutes.) So here is my ranking of the DP film openings, I hope you guys enjoy this light read! :D

12. Frozen: nagyelo Heart/Ice Opening
I personally found this to be uninteresting and irrelevant to the film's magic, fairy tale and princesses (mostly) in the film. No explanation...

Here's my quick top10 favorites of Disney Princess movie songs. I get stuck to a new tune or lyrics far easily, if its hummable and peppy especially. I like listening to songs and don't have particular fixed tastes in genres. Though i find, i tend to gravitate towards pop, rock and Indian music. Very rarely I enjoy classical music, although some that I pag-ibig become my all time favorites and they don't die-out. I guess that's how classic music is. Anyways, this is my current listahan of tuktok 10 favrorites songs from DP movies, it keeps changing for sure as I ilipat onto newer songs.

.... Or Are They? I keep hearing this massive distortion that Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and sometimes others are "unrealistically perfect". Well first of all, they're not actually "perfect" but yes they strive for it and come pretty close. The number one reason? The earlier DPs were made in a time where families were still valued as well as good morals and they were on their best behavior in front of children, hoping that the kids would learn to embrace positive traits and reject negative traits so they would be madami positive people. They cared madami about well-roundedness, being modest...

Okay, so I have come across a lot of criticism against Merida that she is childish, rude, reckless, selfish and what not. But since she's my 2nd paborito princess, i'd like to put up a case in her favor for people to consider and see her in better light. I have tried to dissect the movie scenes, probed into possible perspective on various minor details that may have been overlooked.

Why she isn't sophisticated as others:
She no doubt loves both her mother and father, but Merida takes off a part of feisty, loud and unapologetically honest side from her father. She loves to fight with him, laughing...
